Over the years, i have observed that 90 percent of my kinsmen who have been living abroad ( for more than a decade now), came back home to marry their wives.

There was no courtship, they hurriedly did what the tradition demands and got married. And i noticed that virtually all of those women were decent and well reserved.

The men don't literally come back to woo the women. They do it by proxy. Parents of the men usually approach the women and connect them together, and they go for the decent ones around.

When the entire marital process is done, they fly them abroad to live with them.

It's very hard to see our men over there get married to the abroad women.

Is there any legit reason behind that?

No, they go for the women that can give them peace of mind. We have other women like those white women here as well.

It's all about decency when it comes to selecting them..

There could be some other reasons why they chose not to settle down with the women over there. It's not just about the women not being able to tolerate them.

You can name them, or is it only tolerance you can think of?

And I gave you my own reason..then ya spoke of decency and all..
You was wrong if you think Nigerians abroad chose to marry from their country instead of doing that abroad..

Or let's just say the chose to be closer to their history...

Nowadays the same trait found in their women can be seen in ours too. Westernization is being the norm over here

Men will be like I want a woman that gives me peace of mind or they'll put it this way,if she can give me peace of mind she's good to go. Now my question is if she gives you the peace of mind what then will you give to her? Back to the thread @Op someone said that was then,the last time I checked these village girls na dem tear eye pass township girls sef. My stay in the village last two years before coming back to town omo taught me hard lessons. Except the few ones their mothers know and trust very well. Westernization and the bad influence of technology and media has made it difficult to see a decent girl now.

Just like you observed them come back to marry, try to check up on the marriages as well. I'm sure one or two of them have been totally destroyed by the so called decent wives. Marrying a Nigerian girl is like dancing in a filling station with matches at hand.

We still have decent women here.. Those are the ones their parents go for, not the badly influenced ones.
