Cross the companys name or your name cheesy cheesy cheesy. Congratulations. This is just the starting point. This is what I tell other junior devs vietnam, india, mexico, brazil. These are places that should be in your radar. Getting a junior remote role in the USA or Canada is hard as hell. When you gain experience, you can now try these places.
Exactly, cross your company's name. You never can tell who your story dey pain. Or remove the letter totally

Sleepless night and day. I kept learning and learning and learning. I never attended any physical classes or lessons but taught myself by watching videos online and also got materials from Erie. I will work for mom in the morning, follow my senior brother to farm and still come back to code. One of my friends mr Chris mentor and advice as that made me start backend coding too. My got me my first job from his co farmer who needed a website but as i wasn't good yet, Erie took the job. My brother got me another job months later from his customer in Canada whom he exported some food stuffs to. And i did it well. That period, l built my brother's company website too (hollywayglobal.com) these job were basic coding.

Soon, covid restrictions lifted and school resumed. The need for a new and better laptop arises as the codes were becoming so so much. I needed something better. My brother hustled and got me another laptop. Omo, the laptop no reach one month o. My room was burgled and laptop stolen. Another setback set in. I cried that early morning when i called my senior brother. When I told him ehn, he come dey pity me instead to vex. He was like. *"wo, be using that old one dey go jare. No money on ground as that was the period last year he wan resume his Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program. So no funds on ground like this"*. The laptop he said i should manage suffered me o. I sha used it till march this year. Imagine laptop go dey hot and It gets so hot that it panels melt one period like that. Another thing is that it off at intervals and other various issues like that jare..
I clicked on the hollywayglobal website and it's same thing with the screenshot I took from one Udemy course seller on Nairaland. And the website is way below par.

After reading the story, I'm kinda convince you're real sha, because the chat name is kinda similar to your username.

Can you clear how you started React in June with the 47 days into react in the screenshot?

Congratulations bro, anyways.

I got a job finally .. After years, months, weeks, days and man hours of hard work and persevering, enduring so much to reach a certain height in my ambition. Mehn. It really meant a lot to me, my mom, and my family as it wasn't easy for my senior brother and mom to take care of the whole family bills. No family, friends, relatives come to our aids nor gives us anything. But God's grace was overly sufficient for us. Can't even believe that my brother wey dey school go dey send money home to family. He just told me something yesterday. Bro, forget me. Bring up the rest my siblings too to a sustainable level and we all bring mom up too. I was just emotional since yesterday..
Please can you share the website you used in job hunting

But here is a post of him creating an ecom react website in 2021

Unless he meant June 2021

Ever since I saw a guy posting pictures of another guy claiming it was him before and after he was broke and it made front page here on Nairaland

That was when I knew people will Goto any length these days to appear successful in whatever they're doing.

Also his salary was magically calculated in Naira yet he claims it's a foreign company he works for

That's the end of my story.. Good night everyone. And thanks for following up. My advise is this. Never give up on life o abeg.. Some times and most times and all the times in life, disappointment now, somewhere and one period of time always lead to appointments in the future. It always open another door. So just keep up with whatever you are doing with determination. Always remember, preparation always meet opportunities. If you are not good in something, work upon yourself to be better and you will definitely. Life doesn't award mediocrity. Shalom

You can lan a job, one month after learning how to code. Life is all about Phycology not logic.

No body cares about your skills, etc.

If we stop seeing live through the logical realm we will excel.

What do you mean nobody cares about your skill in the real world?

If you lie you may get the job but what will keep you in the job is your skill

If you lie you're a senior developer with 10 years of experience then get employed why in reality you're not

When they e assign a project to you how would you be able to get in done on time?

Not having a skill;, your lies may see you excel in other fields

But certainly not on Tech or programming

The essence of this section is not to be poking people's stories or disparaging their experiences. There can be exaggerations, there may be mistakes but there's plenty to take away. We should try to always look at the positives and ask questions instead of finding faults. Not all of us are as smart as you guys. For example I don't know what express is neither do I know how to write JavaScript. But I'm motivated to know someone learned and is able to get an offer.

I'm glad you said you don't know what JavaScript or express is.

Assuming you knew your know learning day JavaScript alone may take you more that a year.

Now imagine learning something like JavaScript x35 which takes most more than a year in 5 months

Even a prodigy won't accomplish such

I called him a mumu because it it someone who doesn't have any idea of what the language is or what the subset of the language is that'd claim they learnt 100 in just few months thinking it will make them appear smarter or more accepting.

Those who have actually spent time or sacrificed time will definitely find fault in this story

They are many other success stories in this platform to draw inspiration from like say from example the founder of "Trove"

He was fond of this section

One shouldn't draw inspiration from everything because it sounds sweet to the ears thanks

Honestly I'm curious of what you stand to gain from this.
He may be lying but his lies doesn't involve begging for money. If you asked anyone who started reading from the beginning, they would tell you it actually inspired them not to give up especially for beginners.

True, he might have exaggerated the story but it doesn't take anything away from anyone. I still don't see what you stand to gain from calling him a liar.

It is quite amusing how you play detective and quite ignorant of a lot of things. I will leave you to continue criticizing people's story.

Don't focus too much on the exaggeration and ignore the positivity it brings to people. Even if you keep calling it fake, I hope those looking for inspiration were inspired.
