Hello Karen12,

As a prospective student, you must have been given a username and password to set up your student home profile.

Go to My.senecacollege.ca and set up your profile.

After setting up, click on Student Home, then click on active application, there you can accept your admission offer.

Good luck

Keren12:
Who is going or already studying in Seneca college? Please how did you login to your portal to accept your offer?

Lekiboboe:

By the way, there might be something about your application that brought about the refusal reason "Your purpose of visit to Canada is not consistent".

that being said,

-What did you study in the University or Polytechnic?
- Did you have a 2.1, 2.2.?
- What Year did you graduate?
- What is the name of your Job?
- What is the name and qualification of the program you got admission for in Canada?

Your answer to the above questions might shed more light to the mentioned refusal reason.

Thank you @Lekiboboe for response.

I have first degree in Information Technology at University and I have 2.2.
Graduated 2021 and working as IT Support Specialist.

I got admitted for Postgraduate certificate in Software Engineering

Administrative assistant for HR-Nysc
Running my own Dessert/Cake business-2020 till date.
I have my business registration documents.
I’ll like to apply for Global business management (PGD) program.
Is this fine or I should stick to my history and strategic studies for my school application?

I look forward to your answers. Thanks

You are welcome

I don't know, have heard on this platform many times that dual intent is allowed i.e one application doesn't affect the other. Unfortunately only your GCMS NOTE can state the refusal reasons you need to tackle in your re-application cos atimes the content of a refusal letter is usually generic

GCMS NOTE will take time to arrive, I need to meet up with fall 2022 resumption. I see some people on this platform that reapply without ordering for gcmn and they got it...some ordered GCM NOTE but it arrive, they reapply and got their visa before GCM NOTE arrives.

I want to apply to College of North Atlantic next year for a diploma in Medical office Management. I have been working in a Teaching Hospital for five years as an Hospital Administrator . I am a civil servant as well.
I studied English in University and graduated in 2012. I worked as a customer care rep before I got the government job. Does my course of choice show career progression?

It is what it is.

If you feel you know within yourself and sure why your application was refused and you can tackle it, then you can reapply

This looks logical for both your Academic and Career Progression, probably there are some other things the VO saw in your application as red flags. There is always more to some refusal.

Await additional Inputs from others

Hello everyone. Pls I would like to clarify the following ;

- I plan to change to a different course or switch course after entering Canada. Pls when is the right time to switch courses when in Canada?
- Do I have to study for a few months or weeks on a current program before switching course? Is it possible to switch to another course before starting my first semester in the first place at the Canada university/college?

I don’t think it’s usually a problem switching courses, as long as you’re not changing DLI, but if you’re changing DLI and you haven’t got your SP yet, you can change DLI on your application, but might slow down visa processing. personally , I feel you should do the first semester before changing

Though there is Career Progression in the program you wanna go for, but as a Bachelor's degree holder going for a Diploma, that won't show any Progression because the program qualification (diploma) is lower than your Bachelor's degree.

For your profile, focus on Career Progression, that being said, go for a Post Graduate Certificate (PG Cert) program related to your Hospital Administrator Job, that shows a Career Progression e.g Health Administration, Health Management.

See the link below for PG Cert / Post Baccalaureate in Hospital Administration related programs and go for the one that aligns with your work experience

Since you will be going for a Program not related to your degree (English), but related to your work experience (hospital administration), go through the contents in the link below

Sorry, I do not agree with this oo. Because Software Engineering is under IT and IT support is under IT. If my proposed study is not consistent with IT support experience, it should be consistent with my IT qualification. Consistency is either in work experience or qualification.

I got accurate answer to the answer I was looking for from a RCIC from Canada.

Thanks.
