Other apps send their notifications instantly, except Gmail and this has made me miss some important mails that I did not see until later.

Open the Gmail app settings and allow the app to auto-start

Which phone is Poco 4 Pro?

There are phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 you should have gone for those at least with 450k and above you should have one.

Also hope you aren't using a Mod WhatsApp?

Turn on auto sync if it is off. And if it is On, turn it off and back on.
