Good Evening House

Will a barter virtual dollar card work with CIBC International Student pay? I want to use it to pay an initial deposit.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Blakmandk: 4:15pm On Jun 20, 2022
I’m yet to do my Medicals. But all I’m seeing on my application is ‘processing’. But biometric has been updated since I submitted my application.
Bibianna1:
what's your application status? I did upfront medicals wby?

Please how much does it cost for an IOM medical in Lagos? Also how long does it take to get the result?

The last time I'm aware of, its 46,500 naira for an adult and around 35,600 for a child. You will see the correct amount while booking. A quick Google search will also answer your question too.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Blakmandk: 4:19pm On Jun 20, 2022
Please can you tell me how I’m going to know my eligibility? Will I contacted via mail or I’ll login my application portal to check?
Bibianna1:
Oh nice. My eligibility review started yesterday. Wby?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Blakmandk: 4:21pm On Jun 20, 2022
Medicals by the end of this month. New portal too.
Trailblazer21:

April 25th applicant, did upfront medicals. New portal, no update on eligibility yet.

But will the result be sent directly to the Canadian embassy?

Of course, IOM will send it to IRCC. You will get a text from IOM saying that your health case has been submitted to the embassy

Just make sure you that after your upfront medicals, the E-medical sheet given to you, you send it via webform and mails to IRCC offices (VERY IMPORTANT)

Good day, everyone. I'm about to begin my visa application and I plan on using a third-party sponsor. What documents can I provide to convince the visa officer that he is truly willing to sponsor me?

Ok

You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.” means if they review your study visa application and see all is in order, they will send you a medical request, so, you booking an appointment means you wanna do an UPFRONT MEDICALS to expedite your application

Its until you do your medicals and the clinic you did the medicals (either through IOM or QLife) send it to IRCC and you yourself send your E-medical sheet Via webform and mails to IRCC that's when that message of "you did not need a medical exam" will change to MEDICALS UPDATED to PASS if you pass the MEDICALS

From what i heard on this platform, If your medicals were done via Medical request , the clinic won't give you any document to upload

HI

A BSC holder going for another BSC is not advisable. Approval chances is low with such move.

These are the red flags a Visa Officer will possibly spot
- 15 years is a very long Study gap
- No Academic Progression (going for another BSC) which will be termed as WRONG PURPOSE OF VISIT
- Her Age

Your friend should jejely go for a PG. Cert or Post-Baccalaureate or Post Diploma program in a Business field for CAREER PROGRESSION (as related to her work experience)

See the link below for the programs

My Prof. Thank you always, God bless you richly. Amen

Good day Gurus in the house, please I need your advice.

I recently secured admission to study in Canada and about to commence my study permit application. I intend using my younger brother as my sponsor, he is a nurse in UK with a skill worker visa. He operates UK and Nigeria bank accounts. Now my question is:
1. Can I use both accounts for my application considering the fact that he has more money in the UK account than Nigerian account?

2. Since he is my younger brother, can that factor affect my application?

Thanks as I await responses
