Barbados: Two Ghanaians arrested, others on the run
Two Ghanaians among seven West Africans who refused to surrender to immigration authorities three months ago are now behind bars.

Alfred Kwasi Acheampong, 36, and Patrick Ofori-Berko, 24, were captured recently during a police operation, according to a Barbados website, Nation News.

Both fugitives have since been detained at HMP Dodds, St Philip.
The publication quotes Chief Immigration Officer Gilbert Greaves as saying that no charges would be brought against the two, however they would be kept 'in a safe and secure environment until we can find the others and make arrangements for them to return to their homeland".

The remaining five wanted men, who were part of an original 80 West Africans who arrived in Barbados in February for a cultural two-week visit, but were left stranded after their chartered Ghana International Airlines plane failed to return for them.

And you've come to this conclusion based on what?

The only country that certainly has this problem is DR, but plenty of black people still vacation there.

Are you trolling, bro? lol

The first article is from 2016. Furthermore, read this article about him:
https://jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20131229/lead/lead4.html

As for the woman, unlike other countries, the Caribbean actually has a real concern. They're a bunch of small countries with their own challenges. However, they don't need to be rude about it.

Here's an important comment from that Facebook post:

Re: Few Pics From Jamaica by Cousin9999:
Let's put things into perspective.

Lagos is 452 sq miles. All of Barbados is 169.5 square miles and St. Vincent is 150.2. Furthermore, Nigeria has a population of over 200M.

It's not that they don't want to, they can't, bro. Seriously.

Haiti is 10K sq miles and Jamaica is 4K. Plus Jamaicans and Haitians are very proud, ambitious people (like Nigerians), so politically, things are different. Plus Jamaicans wanna bang appreciate different cultures.

Few Pics from beautiful Jamaica.
Jamaica is the biggest African populated Caribbean island.

It has a population bigger than Gambia and is also much bigger.
You're flat wrong :Hispaniola Island (shared by both Haiti and Dominican Republic ) is almost 8 times bigger than Jamaica in area. And Haiti alone has 11.5m blacks compared to Jamaica's 3m population...then add 11m more for Domican Republic.

One of the things I was told about Jamaica is that they never thought the country will experience an economic boom,so they never put any thought or money into the roads and thing.

So Now they have to remake alot of roads, they also have to tear down a lot of buildings.

So stay tuned smiley

For those having flight issues to Jamaica I think you can travel via carpe verde.

That's from Nigeria to Carpe Verde and then Carpe Verde to Jamaica .

Very cool that way not sure transit Visa will be needed .
