You had 8 years to work on our power sector. What did you do you squandered 7+years ,it's now that you have 11 months remain that you want to start investing a whole $550million. We have seen this pattern before. Why not work on getting the system to function at installed capacity first before you go dey do pass your self.

All very well, but so long as power is sold at a loss, so long as government sets the price, not the acutal companies, and so long as some people, rich, poor, government and private agencies and companies do not pay their bills.....all these are dreams, not reality.

Is electricity generation performed at less than optimum capacity?

Subsidise Solar panel and deep circle batteries so that the poorest can have access it.
Setup battery recycling plants where people can exchange their dead battery for a token.
Setup a task force team to oversee the subsidy and make sure it goes to the right channel and for actual purpose.
Setup a Special squad team in the Nigerian Custom to prosecute anybody wanting to smuggle the panels and batteries to neighbouring countries.
