plaindealer:No, you are an ignorant person who does not want to learn, the pandora spoke about his wealth he might not have declared and did not say he stole state finds, if he stole why can't your almighty Buhari proof it. Obi was a very wealthy man before politics, even his opponents in other parties have good things to say about him, you a nobody is talking as if ur opinion matters in the larger scheme of things. |

JavaScript90:Keep quiet and stop defending nonsense. All these politicians are the same and I have come to realize that there are millions of muguns in this country, most especially the youths. He claimed he invested $20m and as at today turned to $100m,so the main question is for the verification of whether the investments has gained interest to $100m or not .Same people that are praising him today would be the same that. Will castigate him later.May God not let us miss Buhari |

Ofodirinwa:Please because you are on front page, kindly edit your comment to tell them the report is skewed. It didn't report at what value per share when Peter Obi invested over $12M of Anambra state funds, and the report did not state how much jobs and businesses have been created along the value chain? The fraudulent report didn't mention why the dollar equivalent of the investment will definitely have to be low, which is the loss of value of the Naira to the dollar courtesy the APC government. |

SATANICALLY:If this crap actually came from Soludo's team, then something is really wrong from them. This Ifeatu (if not fictitious) should not be involved in managing any sort of finance in Anambra State! First in Naira terms the investment norminally went from 1.9 billion to 2.2 billion in less than a decade, and based on a local economy. By Buhari's evil economic magic, courtsey of Asiwaju Tinubu, every asset in this country lost =(580-320)/580= 45% of there value from the day Buhari took over this country and Aso Rock became an Old Peoples home, dedicated to nursing dead people back to life. This 45% loss of value includes any thing you ever had before Buhari, not just Peter Obi's investment. Your car, you tv, house, private jet, etc. Now to the valuation idioticity of so called Ifeatu Ona-something. 1. He failed to tell us how many people in Anambra Sab Miller Onitsha has employed directly. 2. How much they earned in the last 9 years, which went into circulation of the economy of Anambra State. 3. He failed to tell us how many people in Anambra Sab Miller Onitsha has employed indirectly, as cleaning contractors, trucking contractors, fuel supply contracts, cereal supply contracts, maintenance contracts, etc. 3. How much these people and their employees earned in the last 9 years, which went into circulation of the economy of Anambra State. Not that any cost of labour is a full profit to the labourer. 4. How Much Anambra State government recieved as direct liquid tax payments from intefact Breweries, their direct employees and their indirect employees 5. He also failed to calculate the appreciation in the value of the land around Intefact Brewery Onitsha and the additional industrial establishment it has attracted, at least I am involved in one. 6. The local shareholders and Anambra State have been earning dividends from the Brewery, this is the only value among the gamut on the value chain represented by the share value of intefact brewery. 7. All of the above have been earned over 9years, he must also project their earnings in the remaining life of the plant, which if I take the usual 30 years, still has 21years to impact Anambra State before needing any major overhaul. These are the real profits of an investment by a state or society, not just how much the shares are worth. Shares are a value only to a private or individual investor, Anambra State is a society. For someone from Soludo's economic team to even be quoted on this kind of half baked asset valuation, without a rejoinder or a rebuttal, it puts a lot of Questions on Soludo's Credibility as a Prof. Of Economics, who could not find a knowledgable finance commissioner. |

marsman:The Pandora of a Thing, u should read more on it..they still came out to tell us Obi didn't carry out any fraudulent activities there..that those involved were picked up...all this things are only coming up to spoil his image,..... but thãt of tinubu and Atiku are clear..just that those people keeps hiding under The umbrella of party men so they can't be trialed. |

Apart from the fact that the claim is factually wrong, it's also ludicrous of The Cable to portray a 14.5% gain as a 57% loss by mischievously quoting the amounts in dollars even though the investment was made in naira. Is the fallen exchange rate Peter Obi's fault? - David Hundeyin

Hisbah21:You really are a clown. Was the investment made in USD? If you fixed 500k in 2014 and the current amount plus interest in now 750k. Ideally you should have made profit. But converting the said amount into USD would have made you lose a huge chunk of your investment. The blame should be put on the inept govt of Buhari who has seen the Naira lose its value over 300% in 7 yes. Ask why Dangote lost his spot on the billionaires list? Did his investments crumble or your demigod just made a mess of the Naira? |

This allegation is pure evil. What was the exchange rate at the time of investment and what is the exchange rate now? The fact that you left the facts of the matter to demonize this man, rather desperately, means no one should make the mistake of taking you seriously. Your witchcraft skills is obviously work in progress. |

Paullo19:I wont subscribe to dem say dem say. Show me any where Obiano stated Obi money was used to build airport. Someone who is notoriously known to lie with statistics since the VP debate in 2018 can hardly be trusted. "The cable" is not the usual Nigeria print, they did an investigate journalism and crosscheck Obis claim of investing $20 million to now worth $100million. The stats shows a terrible performance. Obi quoted his investsment in dollars and not Naira, even if we cut him some slack for depreciated value of Naira As of last month, Obi was still in PDP. I am not discussing party at this time. I am simply saying he is not what some superficial youths on social media is painting him to be. He is clearly médiocre. His investment is also self centred as there is a report stating his family ties to the company he invested in. He was saving money and refusing to borrow in a state with large infrastructural deficit. A road contract worth 5 billion in 2010 is now maybe 15 billion to get the same road fixed. Nigeria has never had an intelligent president, Tinubu is the nearest chance if he doesnt suffer any mental decline as he has obviously shown signs of physical illness. When people say Buhari didnt perform as expected because he was sick, i tell them, you can not give what you dont have, it is not because of Buharis health. |

Hisbah21:you might be correct, but how would we know if we don't try. Tinubu and Atiku are massive failures and even a hazard to an already damaged country. You don't expect me to cast my vote for such characters. and still, if you have someone who you believe is the ideal candidate and is contesting, then tell us, we will see if we can cast our vote. Besides that, please be quiet and let pple that have valuable points to make chair the campaign. Thank you |
