This is not only peculiar to Lagos state, states learn from each other and that's the way it should be...

Even in the USA they are ghettos. One thing I know is that Lagos is way better than your entire state forever and ever.

Do you mean that USA cities have more ghettos percentage of all their areas than Thiefnuibu's Lagos?
I am sure you have not sang this song in a long while:

Iya ki se omi obe, Baba ma je ki n jiya

May God not let you endure suffering as if you are enjoying better soup.

Every state must copy what is good in other states, that's the best way to grow. Ekiti sent young men to go learn trading at Onitsha and Aba, Ondo gave back some schools to the missionaries after learning from Anambra.

Nigeria as a whole should copy financial prudence from Peter Obi, Nigeria needs a sound economic manager and Peter Obi is an advanced excellent resource manager on the big scale.

We Nigerians must fight for our independence from corruption. We need to be OBIdient

I thought you were going to say it’s because Lagos was capital. Obi followers are scammed. You mentioned financial prudence, was Obi financially prudent like Tinubu as a governor? Show me the evidence of that.

You're right, it was better then before ibo people came in their numbers to constitute nuisance all over the place.
They're the one who dispose trash on the roads and drainage, they also sell their okrika at any available space on the road, thereby causing traffic.
They do all these so that lagos can compete with the east in terms of backward, no Yoruba person would destroy what's theirs.
So pls take your people back home so Lagos can be sane again.

See pained Obi fans and ex-IPOB apologist consoling themselves that "states also come to understudy Anambra/Onitsha" cheesy cheesy

Some clueless ones are even saying Tinubu increased the tax, when all he did was make the taxation system be more circular.

e.g Instead of increasing the tax from N5 to N10 ,the structure of Lagos set by Tinubu taxed more people the same equivalent of N5 .

There's nothing wrong in learning what you don't know from those who know better. That's how life works.

But thing is those who criticize others for attempting to learn from working economies are here applauding this one because it suit their narrative.

Its the hypocrisy for me... Such individuals extreme idiasts

It is true that Lagos benefited from being the federal capital but Lagos island was the capital of Nigeria not the rest of Lagos state. The rest of Lagos, i.e Apapa, ilupeju, Ikeja, Surulere, Badagry, epe, were under the western region and were developed by Awolowo. All those industrial estates in Apapa, ilupeju, isolo, Ikorodu, Oregun etc were developed by Awo. Ikeja for example was a bush until the mid ‘60s, that’s why the army barracks is located there, it was at that time on the outskirts of what was the the federal capital. In fact the name Ikeja does not exist in history. It is an acronym for Ikorodu and Epe joint administration. IK E JA

Guy you fall my hand, always resist the urge to shalaye to these awon a ti oko wa ba Ile je.
The way dey gather in Lagos now is the way dey populate Ibadan, the capital of western Nigeria pre independence.
They were so obsessed with Yorubaland, that their grand father Azikiwe even wanted to become the premier of the western region.
They see every good place as a vehicle and they must be the driver.
They have been attacking Tinubu since 2011, all because they could not get PDP into power in Lagos.
Unfortunately for them Tinubu is a man who can see far into the future, they are already beaten, ologbon lo ma ye.
Ewure won kan fi ese hale ni, se won fe na olowo wan pa ni?.
They can't stop him, BAT will win this one, power will return to the North after 8 years and SS will have the presidential Ticket.

This is false ,Lagos was a federal capital ,and the federal areas are known, the remaining parts of Lagos was Western region.

What is false in what he said? You still ended up saying "Lagos was a federal capital" which is exactly what he said.

Which are the federal areas? Are those areas still federal areas or state areas?

What are those parts that were western region?

When did Lagos become a federal territory?
When Southern and Northern Nigeria were amalgamated in 1914, Lagos was made the capital of the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria. In 1954 most of the hinterland was incorporated into the region of Western Nigeria, while the city itself was designated as federal territory.

How does this negate what he said?
