You can rephrase the question as does God tells you who to marry?

I've heard a lot of people say God revealed to them that Mr A or Miss B is their partner. Most pastors tells some of their members who they think God has chosen for them as a partner not based on God's principle but based on their foresight or revelation.

Sorry to say this, but I don't believe in that rubbish. Yes, God talks to people on a normal day, but when it comes to marriage, there's seriously no biblical evidence to support such.

And for those who claim to have heard God saying "this is my wife ", we can't really be sure if it was God speaking . After all, we've had a number of marriages that came crashing after such pronouncements were made. A great example would probably be Chris Oyakhilome

Well to my own knowledge God doesn't really create someone to be your spouse no one is specially made for you.
But you can receive a man or woman that is holy or serving God, though there are some exception that God can honor someone and give he/she spouse but it's rare. This happened many times in the bible.

When you are praying for partner in a fellowship or church you will surely see someone around you, you won't receive someone in Ghana as your spouse when you are here in Nigeria. Or someone in SE when you are in SW. You probably receive a holy man in the church or around your town/city or anywhere you go.

That's the simple logic about it.

For pastors saying it's your partner after they ve prayed about it: This has many interpretation and God revelation is not always direct, some pastors says he is your man when they see children or peace of mind or even celebration.

There are many things to this anyways, that's just the simplest explanation.

Instead of being angry and debunking God. Get a quiet place where you can be alone for hours and start asking God your hard questions. You need to get your thoughts and emotions focused on the questions you ask.

While in this state, start googling whatever question comes to your mind about God. Do not be afraid to explore answers from other religions especially those where celestial monarchs do not exist.

I read my bible and that's the only way I'm ever gonna hear from God. Secondly , my bible never said anything about God showing people their wives or husbands, instead it tells you how to conduct yourself before getting married.

Hosea 1:2 says it all. God can direct one to his life partner for just a purpose.

I don't believe that at all. This since God cursed marriage in Genesis 3 vs 16b making marriage of this world and not of Him nor His Kingdom - Luke 20 vs 34 - 36 - , also opening it up.to divorce which He hates.

Your pastors and mogs who preach marriage to you using God's name deceive you with their lies given they are the very false teachers and false prophets Jesus Christ warned you to steer clear of..
