Though there are exceptional cases were a UK applicant is given one of GFM award (Emphasis on exceptional cases) but not vice-versa . It doesn't mean he performed better than those of GFM. What then would we say about people who didn't even apply or submit their applications, yet they were called for interview while some probably go on to win the award?

Who said he didn't perform better than those in the other list? His performance might have been outstanding but he was still bettered by a few in the UK category, so rather than waste him, they pushed him to the other category. Why waste a good candidate?
That could be a good reason for giving him rather than dropping him because he didn't pick any FGM country.

You are right.
I was only trying to correct the other guy's notion that says we're competing with everyone from our state. Secondly, I laid emphasis on exceptional cases - example of which you have stated. They might have gotten 4 candidates with the same excellent results, and they are looking for just 3 so they decide to push the 4th person down to GFM. And so many other scenarios. But the fact remains, UK is competing with UK, GFM is Competing with GFM .

All this unproductive arguments and speculations, guys forget about PTDF and move on with your life, if you get, you get. Just don't hold your breath.

I have seen it happen. PTDF reserves the right to allocate you either UK or FGM depending on how things work out in your state. If for example you did very well but not well enough for UK, but you surpassed all the FGM applicants, they can move you to FGM. Happened to my mentee.

It had closed admission for the course . You can apply to another UK university with PTDF partnership.
The purpose why PTDF listed these universities is to get reduction from fees paying by FG of Nigeria.

You can apply for a similar programme at a listed school. If you intend to leave september then you must do what you can to secure admission as soon as possible otherwise you will have to defer.

Why not try and appy for a related course offered by the school as long as it's within computing. If the admission has closed, u can try other universities in the UK recognised by PTDF. Some admissions are still open till October.

The 2022 award list has not been released yet, hence, the Whatsapp group is likely not existing for now. Perhaps by July it will be created .

Guess you should just apply for Information Technology, Robotics or Software Engineering. A current scholar said that as far as the course is in the partner University and the course is related to PTDF's subject areas, you can switch to your course of choice.

Hello, I was advised to wait until I get the scholarship for the desired school before applying because I had to pay the application fee and had to show funding.

Now, the submission process for the school and the course I want has closed for the year. I intend to go this year, September. Any advice please? Thanks.

1. Original cert is not a requirement.
Transcript is required most atimes. Because
2. Transcript is optional but required after admission thus; during documentation and your school will have to send it to them not you.
3. I suggest you take ur shots.
