Please understand UK law before you start to condemn this young man because he is poor.

Who is showcasing the confidential passport and BVN details of this young man online? Only the boy should have access to that information and only he should have the authority to post it online. The fact that someone is displaying these details online in defence of the Ekweremadus shows that the boy is not in possession of his own passport. Why is this? - Red flag 2

regardless of age, the UK would not have issued a visa for the purposes of organ donation as the boy is not a relative and there was no Doctor's report in Nigeria indicating that he would be a match before issuing the visa. Again this is the UK and the Nigerian senator does not have the power to just tell the Embassy that someone is coming for organ donation so the letter you are seeing parading around is fake - Red flag 3.

The young man involved in the controversial organ harvesting scandal that led to the arrest and detention of Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice in the UK, David Nwamini Ukpo, has taken to the social media to tell his own side of the story.

According to David Nwamini in a Facebook post on Saturday, June 25th, he stated that he was allegedly lured from Nigeria to London for the harvesting of his kidney without his consent.

He claimed that they promised him a job and never told him about the donating any organ, adding that he got to know about the organ harvesting through the physician who was going to perform the procedure on him.



Recall, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested in the United Kingdom by the police and detained on allegations of child trafficking and organ harvesting after Ekweremadu had flown David to UK for the kidney transplant.

Ekweremadu and his wife were subsequently denied bail in court, and the case adjourned to July 7.
