The young man involved in the controversial organ harvesting scandal that led to the arrest and detention of Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice in the UK, David Nwamini Ukpo, has taken to social media to tell his own side of the story.

According to David Nwamini in a Facebook post on Saturday, June 25th, he was allegedly lured from Nigeria to London for the harvesting of his kidney without his consent.

He claimed that they promised him a job and never told him about the organ donation, adding that he got to know about the organ harvesting through the physician who was going to perform the procedure on him.

Ukpo’s post tiled “My journey to UK” read, “On one fateful day I met a man named okoro in a building site where I was working for my daily bread, okoro told me he like me, he want to help me achieve my dream because he saw me as a great person. He told me could you like to work in UK I just started laughing because I don’t have money for that, then I told him no am not interested and asked me why I told him I don’t have money for that.

“When we landed in hospital in UK I was told I must went for a medical test to check my health status, if I’m fit for the job I accepted without any question. I thank God for doctor harry who told me everything and I told him why I’m here and he later called police for my rescued.”

Comrade you people are failing to see the bigger picture. What is okay about preying on the Vulnerable? This is way bigger than Sen. Ekweremadu. We have been used and abused in this country for way too long. The Senator can afford a Kidney legally sourced. He said no... Why pay for a kidney at the internationally known rate when I can just get a vulnerable poor destitute from Nigeria and Harvest his Kidney. Is this too much fo the average Nigerian to understand. Exploiting a Vulnerable person is a crime anywhere on earth. Those defending Ekweremadu are suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

Immigration has no case here, they work with documents required that is presented.
If age is the issue, they should check his primary school certificate, his classmates can still speak out.
But, other issues will still arise, the boy may still say he was not he was going to donate kidney.

Even if the Ekweremadus escape some of the serious charges, they did a shady arrangement. There hands are not totally clean. At 21 in Nigerian, honestly most are not really free adults, either you are still in school processes or learning a trade. Either way you are most probably under parents or guardians.
So I ask -
1, Did Ekweremadu inform the boy's parents or guardians?
2, Did they inform any of the guy's relative?
3, Or did they just got the boy through a connect and did all in secrecy.
4, If it is such a risk free venture, why did they not persuade any of the remaining children to donate the kidney?

He’s NOT the one making the “claims” in this case…
Rather, it is the UK GOVT (the State) making criminal “claims” against the Ekweremadus.

Further, the Prosecution is NOT making the case “on his behalf” but on behalf of the UK government…
The “claims” of the State does not necessarily depend on the dude, but more likely on DOCUMENTARY evidence!

Nonetheless, like I said elsewhere on this thread…
The Ekweremadus are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Does this mean Ekweremmadu is not guilty of any offense? If yes, congratulations to him, and his critics should rest. But if he is guilty in any way, why so much concentration on the boy's age?

Also, why has immigration quickly confirmed the boy's age but may take eternity to confirm the authenticity of the passport used by the boy?

Wrong! The boy was the one that alleged and raised an alarm on exploitation and underage which the state has taken up. True, it’s now the state vs the Ekweremadus, but standing on the allegations the boy made which are currently being unraveled to be false. Documentary evidences currently being circulated do not favor the cause of the state. And the boy having found to have made a false claim renders anything else he is saying as a witness suspicious. Heard vs Depp comes to mind.
