I don't think they will be so daft to enlist anybody they don't know to drive them to the scene of an ambush of a prime target. No chance, even a foolish man will not leave the chance of his escape (logistic) in the hands of person they don't know in a very highly riscky engagement of murdering someone that could have police escorts.
