Congratulations to our new CJN a core Yoruba man from Iseyin... Like I always said... Yoruba agenda is to enter Aso Rock after Buhari tenure with Jagaban as the incoming president of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria... Those that want to sit at home every Monday should continue... Imagine Sunday Igboho telling me to sit at home every Monday when I'm suppose to be at work

More than half of all the justices had to leave due to one controversial or political mistrust. The political rift between the judiciary and the executive was very deep from Aloma Mukhtar down to Tanko. Onnoghen was even the worst and most disgraceful among all the resignations of all CJN.

Please kindly vote with your conscience come 2023. The current mistake must not be repeated.

Trafitionally, the Igbos prefered the bar to the bench, until now. That's being the reason for the historical low turnout of igbos on the supreme court bench.

You are really delusional

Mention one sector in Nigeria that Yoruba doesn't have overwhelming influence?

ICT sector?

Financial sector?

Entertainment?

Industrial sector?

Top higher institutions in Nigeria are still in Yoruba land

You all should wonder why an Igbo never made the list from within yourselves and stop claiming marginalization against other tribes…that itself is a form of ethnic consciousness that will even make it more difficult. These positions don’t just drop on anyone’s laps to fulfill ethnic balance. A lot comes to play, of course ethnicity is also part of it.

They were times until 1999 when no Yoruba man in any democratic government in Nigeria ever for once attain the position President and Vice President since independence. Igbos attain this positions first. It’s not about dominating others, but what was brought to the table. Even with Awolowo and other big Yoruba politicians. Nnamdi Azikwe became Nigerian’s first President, then Alex Ekweme became Nigeria’s Vice President too.

It’s all about positioning and other factors that comes to play within the bench, government in power, relationship and the situation of the political setup during the period this judges were appointed. The victim mentality is becoming sickening, nobody will deliver a juicy position if you don’t work and fight for it..not even if you are an Hausa man or Yoruba, you must merit it within the contexts of political setups and relevance of the government.

Same for other ethnic groups. We have many yorubas being educated because they and/or their forebears had easy access to education. Remember the Awolowo free education programme in the west.

The narrative has largely shifted now though. yorubas can no longer be comfortably said to be dominating in this area
