If I were you, will visit gov.uk for better clarification cus I know of main applicant submitting DBS but haven't heard of the dependants.

But to be on a safer side, let her do it so as to be able to use it to secure a job over there since it expires after 6 months.

No don’t write to A, let both be going together whoever issues first, they have nothing to lose they can always withdraw a cos and get refunded or reassign to another applicant. Best of luck

Is police report (DBS) required for spouse when they apply together ?

Not explicitly stated in the requirements though , with the fee now 5times what it was 3weeks ago , one need to watch it and provide the necessary documents..

Please don't advise that, that will be so unfair to coy A. They pay for the COS and that slot can be given to someone else.

How do you mean? Did you read my message clearly? Has he/she been assigned by coy B yet? Who told you coy B is promised yet? Why not let the person spread the options. I can categorically tell you the company won’t lose anything. I’m here in the uk and i know how it works. If at all coy A eventually assigns you they can call it back simply and reassign to another ?

DON'T DO THAT. It costs a lot of money to apply for CoS. The Home Office might even take steps against you for that and you will definitely be blocking the path for other Nigerians. If you didn't want the first job, why did you ask them to go ahead with the CoS?
