That old Port Harcourt smells of abandoned properties and literally these buildings belonged to Igbos who fled to hinterland during the Civil war. That Town axis besides old GRA is almost the least developed part of Port Harcourt City worse than Abuloma/Amadi/Okuru axis and Diobu. The reason is because "awoof dey run belle" not because of tribe . After all same tribe still developed Abuloma/Amadi/Okuru axis and that's those whose parents rejected the occupation and chose to build theirs.
