Many drivers don't know this, and its very annoying when other dazzle their beams on your face at night. Best to just be looking at the floor and not directly at their lights which sometimes could also be dangerous. Its possible to make your beams to the correct level where it won't affect other driver's line of sight.

There is no need to go to travel section ... It will benefit people here pass the travel section........

Go and rest.

Baz doesn't need any prompt from you to share stuff.

Baz jappa is motivation already. That : "it is possible to find your way to a first world nation regardless of your background/ socio-economic class."
That is all that is needed on this forum.

Good day fellow comrades,

Is been awhile, almost 10 months since my accident still unable to walk fully.

Guys I need your help and advice on this.

Let recap what happened.
I am driver, working with my partner for over a year before the incident. I planned my wedding for last year Sept 2021 in which I travelled to around ore for my wedding introduction and engagement. The whole ceremony was successful on Saturday and we decided to return to lagos on Sunday morning .

On our way back, getting close to ijebu ode some vehicles were facing One-WAY ON OUR SIDE OF ROAD.
All of a sudden while approaching a trailer, a transport sienna car, drove out from behind the trailer on full speed.

The best option that came to my mind was to leave the road, but before I could steer out of danger. We blacked out.

On opening my eyes. The car was smoking and the sienna was right in front of us in the Bush. My legs were already squeezed and broken under the pads, I couldn't turn to see my wife and my God-mother sitted behind.

To cut the long story short.
My God-mother die instantly, my wife head was split at the forehead. My both legs had multiple fractures.

God save my life and that of my wife. After the policemen, at the checkpoint not far away from us rescue us.

We went through multiple surgeries at othepedic and babcork hospital and they were all successful.

Now,
Here is were I need help and advice.

The policemen contracted my that the poeple of the sienna driver want to take their car. But were not allowed.
The station scheduled a meeting where my father and my uber partner's elder brother represented me .
However, it was concluded over there that they need to compensate us.

When I got the report, I was not happy because I felt they are meant to visit us and the family of the deceases. But they only showed up for their vehicle.

2 to 3 months since the meeting at the policestaion, we have not heard from them.
My wife and I has been decharged from the hospital. But my legs are not fully heal to stand on. My wife has also lot her job after her company wait long enough. I has really been very tough to survive. But We Thank God for life.

What steps should I take please? Will it be best to file a court case? Your opinions will help allot.
Jesus Christ. shocked Sorry for your loss. It’s just unfortunate we live in a lawless country. Court cases can take years to settle. My sister was involved in an accident with a Julius Berger bus, it’s been 7yrs+ the case is still ongoing. Though theirs was a minor accident.

Whatever decision you take, I really wish you the best.

Dru it's okay abeg. Whether Bazoo is in America, Canada, Japan, Russia, South Africa, Morocco, Mauritius, Spain, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, New Zealand, Australia or in Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Cyprus, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda or even still in Nigeria sef, its not for us to investigate.
Also if he doesn't want to tell or assist others through the path he used to travel, it's still his prerogative.

I don't think anybody that's interested in traveling has contacted him and he didn't respond positively, so until someone says otherwise let's not cast doubts.
Even if he refuses to tell, I Know there are many paths to d abroad and not everybody will be proud of the route they used to japa.

Bazoo isn't the first person on this thread to travel out so let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Reason why I tagged the only two trustworthy persons I could think of in Lagos to champion the movement. Felicity0001 and Pearl1910. I am also waiting to contribute my quota should any of them kickstart the process. I am in faraway Abuja.

@ Tgiirl, your account number will be needed please be online.

Glithronix:

It's over a month already.
Picked the rider (a man) from Iyana Isolo in the morning, going to Iyana-Iba, due to his appointment, destination was changed to Iyana Ishashi.
On our way going, there was a mad traffic jam that held us on the way after passing Alaba market a bit. So, he was in a hurry to meet up with his appointment, and he bad 2 traveling bags.
When traffic was not moving, I suggested he should take 2 bikes then, one for his loads and the other for himself, so that he could meet up his appointment.
He appreciated that suggestion, so we stopped 2 bikes.
I gave him my account details to transfer as he asked.
When I made my way back to go to a sane area like Maryland and environ, na war. That area na mad drivers full there + trucks. Because of this, no amount of surge to take me to that axis, even if it's 3x high demand.
In a nutshell, he didn't transfer sha.
I called this man say him never transfer, he said he would do it now. Still the same, he didn't transfer. I called him tire, na d same thing throughout that day, the following day, the alaye blocked my numbers. Amount was 4.1k.
I wanted to overlook and hand him over to karma but when I thought about my experience driving out of that Ojo road, I contacted Bolt via mail immediately and explained. Bolt demanded for the person's contact, I sent it to them.
Later got a mail from bolt say the person has been contacted and would make my payment soon. Throughout that day, I no see anything. I mailed bolt back say I no see anything. Bolt responded that they would contact the person again and get back to me.
By the time bolt got back to me, they came with "the individual is no longer reachable", alaye don block Bolt too be that. grin
Them now say dem go compensate me for it. Na so I saw amount of 4k as bonus target on my profile with just 5 trips and 4 hours or so sha.
I quickly did that in the morning and won the money.
Na so e take go.
Much respect, bossman.

Can you imagine! You still had to work you ass out to get money you already worked for yet paid commission for the 5 trips? The 5 trips would have been commission free.

They tried that nonsense with me some times last year and I protested against it through several mail and uche credited my account and took his rubbish bonus.

Nonsense Bolt.

May that man never get to his next destination safely.
Wicked man!

He scammed you and Bolt helped him to scam you again disguising they compensated you the money. Uber won't do that the moment you complain to them they credit your wallet immidately after investigation not asking you to report back after 7days or asking for riders account details as if drivers have access to rider bio-data.

Scamming Bolt.

Can you see how they also made you worked extra for peanut with you bonus experience. Bolt are never sincere with their bonus campaign, there's nothing anybody not even Uche can do to convince me otherwise.
