Transfer Update: Tyronne Ebuehi headed to Empoli

Ebuehi is headed to Serie A side, Empoli who finished 14th in the League last season.

Empoli's new coach, Paolo Zanetti is the same man who also signed Ebuehi on loan while at Venezia at the beginning of the 21/22 season (last summer). Now, Zanetti is set to re-sign him to his new club for another Serie A adventure.

So yes... Ebuehi stays in Serie A.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ebuehi's Empoli medicals are scheduled for between June 30 and July 1.

Aquí Vamos! wink

More on the Ebuehi to Empoli move....

It will not be a loan like last summer. It will be a permanent transfer to Empoli for free with a percentage of any future resale going to Benfica.

Ebuehi signs a 3 yr deal with the option of a 4th year.

Medical visits still reported to take place between June 30 (Today) and July 1.

Tic Tac....

I think France should stop pretending, they need to swallow their pride and file for a place in the AFCON

Transfer Update: Kelechi Nwakali

Kelechi Nwakali is said to have turned down a contract offer of €23k per month (5, 750 euros per week) laid out by Swiss League Champions, FC Zurich.

So as things stand, he remains a FREE AGENT still in search of a team to agree personal terms with and permanently sign for.

On a flip side...

June 30 Significance

Meanwhile... Today being June 30 is the official date of contracts expiration across Europe's big leagues or players who had 1 season left in their contracts at the beginning of the 21/22 season and didnt renew.
Loads of players officially join the Free agent world today.

I guess it's why Mourinho said the only way Africa can win a World cup is if FIFA will put a rule that Players must play for the country of their parents. This is Africa FC.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. Like they say in our local parlance. You cannot decipher what's in the mind of a man that hung a bag while pounding fufu. Just maybe like the bird that dances at d middle of the road, his drummer may just be nearby. You never can tell. Let's watch and wait.

For him to reject a deal like that, he's already assured of a better one. So let's wait and see.
