if he excel here, lead a club to the latter stages of a continental trophy who says he can’t get a good job on the continent? Won’t that boost his CV? There are coaches in South America who have never stepped foot in Europe and they are highly rated

should I list the two coaches who had done what you said, yet they don't even smell Togo league, talk less of continental league side

Do you think our football development can equate to South America?

By the way, Steve Cooper did not go through that long route. All I am saying is that we need to pray for things to improve in our country because the state of things is not ideal.

As long as you are Nigerian, the route is harder as a manager, regardless of how good you are.

The league has always been a picasso artwork of the bad light. That's it's color.

Nobody is secure or safe. They just tushed up jerseys, nothing remarkable to show progress. I can bet that if they pump over $100m into the league, the character and despicable acts will not change. It's a mentality problem.

That game shows that the NPFL and lmc aren't in control at all. They aren't ready to move forward with the right moves. Club owners and players can't even start a campaign against violence and insubordination.

Its the air they breath. Why should a ref still be afraid in this 2022 year? Where are the rules and protocols to make defaulters fear and set their houses in order? Virtually none. Very shameful.

I can bet you that if not for bascovanveli, this league won't look attractive to me. See what shooting stars did weeks back.

See rumors of mfm angry at sunshine for now helping them avoid relegation like they helped sunshine seasons back.

A Shameful Circus House.

And the Paint is the bad paint. No one else wan repaint am. For now!!

NPFL no be league. University League level.
It's not in isolation. Just like every other thing in d country. From Top to bottom.

See, the problem with the league isn't the actors per se, it's the regulators. The actors (fans and team officials) only display despicable conducts because they know the regulators do not have the cajones to take strong decisions.

It doesn't take rocket science to bring sanity to the League. Just have strict penalties for conducts like this and you'll see it stop almost immediately.

For instance, whenever fans disrupt a game without incidence, let the team play behind closed doors for half season. If with incidence, deduct points and ban the team to another location for half the season, have them play behind close doors all through the season. Officials who beat up referees should be banned from the NPFL for life. You just have to read them the riot act and follow through with them and you'll see changes.

All this have been done. No change

On Naijamade show on Supersport we have called for strict sanctions that actually will cause a team to think twice.

An example is automatic disqualification for the rest of season. But laslas as far the league (club) is largely in Gov hands, nothing will change

Sadiq Umar better joins Benfica. He replaced Darwin Nunez at Almeria and succeeded. Likely the system at Benfica will suit him as he replaces Darwin Nunez there again.

It's not the same baba. Nunez left Almeria when they were playing in the second division. Sadiq will be playing with Almeria in the Spanish top division, he is largely responsible for bringing them here. All he needs is just to score 15 goals in his first season. Then he can move to wherever

if any of benfica or Ajax can pay his release clause and offer him bigger pay package he should move

Almeria likely to be relegated next season

I play we get starlets in that section of the team. Failing to do so will be retrogression from the norm since 85.

I think we may soon see a good test to Micheal in his natural position. But these guys are formidable.

I doubt its just regulator issues. Those players too still act unprofessional. It took dragging for that jet li to come online, create a new twitter account and apologize to all fans. Why. That clip has reached Europe with his name on it. Imagine!!!

NUPL

U for Unprofessional

As for L, League no fit again. Maybe List.

Fear and Regard for Rules needs not just a panel or regulators, but cohesion and associations enforcing all and making pledges to never be.

Those fans also have a mind of their own too. The club may be sane but the fans may be opposite.

Weah in Liberia

Cisse in Mali
Eto and Song in Cameroun
Kalusha in Zambia
Mane in Senegal
Aristide Bance in Burkina Faso

Ederson, Joao Felix, Darwin Nunez, Ruben Dias, Axel Witsel, Renato Sanches, Di Maria, These are just few names that have left Benfica.

Scoring 15 goals in Almeria cannot carry the same weight as scoring 15 goals with Benfica. Benfica is more marketable than Almeria.

Yes, in grades, they are.

Graded from Grades I to VI depending on the level of fusion of the radial epiphyseal plates of the left wrist.

I trust most, if not all, of the lads are Grades IV and below except in a few cases where two or more may lie on the border between Grades IV and V.

Back in December 2020, the NFF decided to only pick players who are Grades IV and below to avoid failing MRI tests on the African and Global stage due to a rule in the U17 Afcon regulations that states that if any member of a team failed the MRI (during Afcon Qualifiers or at Afcon proper) then the entire team would be disqualified.

So with this, I think Odoh should make it all the way to the WC, hopefully.

Thanks for this exposé Doc.

I now have a better understanding.

When I've watched the Spanish football highlights
Chukwueze (apologies if the spelling's wrong) has always
struck me as a more dangerous player for Villarreal than
Danjuma tbh. The fee being punted around seems to be very
high for someone who has only chalked up one season at a
decent level in top football

Danjuma had more goals contribution for Villareal last season compared to Chukwueze but somehow Chukwueze is more dangerous, dangerous in doing what?
