Gov. Wike a strong political figure, fearless with integrity and stands for Justice no matter the situation will never betray Southern Nigeria Presidency.

We ikwerre people dominate the politics of Rivers State as the most populated with 100% support from the Ogba, Ekpeye people who have same ancestral link makes the people constitute about 70% of Rivers State population.

There are two major political parties in Nigeria (APC and PDP) which our two sons (Amaechi & Wike) contested for the presidential primaries and came second in the both parties in their effort to move power to the South come 2023.

While Rotimi Amaechi has declared support for Tinubu who came first in the primary election as a party man, Gov. Nyesom Wike will never support Atiku presidential ambition even if Wike does not leave PDP.

We will vote for the Southern Presidency, irrespective of the party. Tinubu will win majority of Rivers State vote because, our son Rotimi Amaechi a former governor who represents Ikwerre people will definitely bring home development and empowerment to our people if Tinubu wins 2023 presidency.

Peter Obi will not get the support of Ikwerre people and the entire Rivers state because, Peter Obi refused to remain in PDP and support Wike and also PDP delegates from Igbo voted against Gov. Wike presidential ambition.

Rivers State is the most populated state in the Niger Delta with Port harcourt the most developed and populated city in the Niger Delta. Port Harcourt happens to be one of the four local government of the ikwerre people in Rivers State.

The Influence of Rotimi Amaechi in Rivers State and Niger Delta in support of Tinubu and the Influence of Nyesom Wike in Rivers State and Niger Delta will definitely deliver the region in support of Tinubu come 2023
.

Ikwerre would have influenced the Niger Delta people to support Igbo presidency (Peter Obi) but unfortunately:

- Peter Obi party lacks structure

Ikwerre would have influenced the Niger Delta people to support Igbo presidency (Peter Obi) but unfortunately:

- Peter Obi party lacks structure
- IPOB forceful inclusion of the Niger Delta their said Biafra map even when it is clear we the Niger Delta have the strength, resources and population to fight for our people as an independent region or state and not to be part of any major tribe of Nigeria to form any new country when we can have our own.

It is obvious you are not from Rivers State. You mind tells you Rivers people would vote for APC? It would not happen. Wike is not defecting to APC.
Sure Wike is hurt but he was clearly outsmarted by Okowa. That is the nature of Politics. Wike would rather support his old friend Peter Obi than BAT except if he wants to loose a lot of his supporters. Forget about prejudices and seemly Ikwerre and Igbo rivalries, when chips are down, they will always resolve their political differences and do the needful.

Wike has SIMs Fubara to deliver as governor and so there is no way he will have a deal with BAT APC.
Always remind yourself that the voting blocks in Rivers remain Igboids, Ijoids and Ogoni. The Igboids have upper hands due to high concentration of indigenous and non-indigenous Igboid population in PHALGA, OBALGA and Oyigbo. As you probably know, Nigeria voting pattern is highly ethnic based. The Ikwerres are the rallying point for the igboid population for obvious reasons with Wike for now, the arrow head. If Wike works for Atiku, then PDP would win the presidential otherwise Peter Obi will carry the day here.

For the governorship election, APC will not make any in-road. Although the PDP and APC are picking their candidates from riverine areas, SIMS has upper hand. He is in PDP and his native Opobo speaks mostly Igbo language. He will likely follow Wike's pattern of campaigning by interjecting huge doses of Igbo language whenever he campaigns in Igboid areas. SIMS would likely cast himself as Igboid son whenever he is on campign trail in upland area and then Ijoid whenever he campaigns in Ijaw clan to keep the IYC happy. These would definitely give him an edge in Igboid speaking domains of Iloabuchi, Mile 1, Ibaa, Okehi, Ulakwo, Isiokpo, Egbema, Ndoni, Ahoada, Eberi-Omuma, Oyigbo, etc. He will also speak Igbo (Ubani) in Grand Bonny and Opobo. He is likely to be in play in Ijoid areas for reasons mentioned above although not as strong as Tonye Cole from Kalabari.

Peter Dakuku another Opobo son lost the last time because he contested under APC and against a Diali (Wike) from Iwhuruọha. Had it been he contested with a fellow Riverine person from any of the Ijoid clan, he would have won that election.

Although, the Ibani clans of Opobo and Bonny are small compared with other Riverine ethnic groups like Kalabari, they will continue to have the upper hands in todays Rivers politics due their language affinity with the uplands as well as the existing age long rivalry between Okrika and Kalabari clans.

As for the Ogoni, they are highly fractured politically and are yet to get their footing in the present political dispensation to present any threat to PDP or Peter Obi.

Igbos don't have any property seized from them in Port Harcourt. Not at all.

Old things have passed away.

Ohh please stop calling Okowa a traitor. He is a smooth political operator and only outmaneuvered Wike. It is all politics.

Please do not bring that pontification about Southern Presidency, the politicians are just trumpeting that so as to have undue advantage over their opponents. If you are talking about Equity, then it would be the turn of South East or North East which would entail that BAT and Wike has no ethical reason to contest.

Wike and Okowa are Igboid brothers from South South and they will settle themselves later. Wike is just playing the game to put himself back to the PDP engine room as it is obvious that Atiku and Okowa have taken over the PDP national structure which Wike laboured so hard to perpetually control.

You are neither from nor residing in Rivers state.
So you don't know Whats Up.
The only thing that will make LP not winning Rivers state is if PDP reverse back and pick Wike as the running mate..
Anything shot of this, Obi will clear OBALGA & PHALGA & OBIGBO. This three LGAs constitute 45-50% of the voting population of Rivers state. Rivers has 23 lgas.
