Why are most of our brothers in Yoruba land so greedy and evil a times I wonder if south south oil should be in Yoruba land they would have killed every Nigerian because of greed.

Lekki deep sea port is a private /federal project located in Lagos mainly to export oil from south south and southeast . afonjas are now claiming they built it already planning how to deal with igbos same way they claim tinubu built Lagos that is 90% federal project, how more evil can you guys be?

Dangote is a private concern. Eko Atlantic is done by Chargoury Chargoury. These are private concerns why not tell people the real truth behind thae projects
but y'all claim Tinubu and Chagoury are the biggest landlord in Lagos. Lagos state utilizes PPP and they have been preaching it for a long time now .

The siting of the port, Lekki FTZ and Eko Atlantic is brilliant. Seems Apapa will only be handling importation while this port will deal with exportation. Dangote refinery will be able to export refined petroleum easily so also other companies sited there .
For Dangote to key into this tells you how much he believes the State government yet the social media youths without foresight keeps denigrating the achievements of Lagos shows the youths are not been realistic .
Where are the roads

Stop exposing your ignorance. Lekki FTZ, Lekki Port, Lekki Airport,Eko Antlantic. They were all Lagos government initiatives and yes executed by private business. We were all here when they were looking for partners to kick off the projects. Which is why I love Lagos and her governors. Most of their projects are tied around PPP, that's why they are sustainable and not because APC has always been in Lagos.
LCC (that endsars wants to end), LSSTF even LAGBUS and Laghoms have significant PPP built around them.

I was expecting you to prove me wrong you still came back to my point that it's not Lagos state project but ppp/federal.

Commendable

Reason they wouldn't want CRS's or any other state especially south-south/south west to have a deep sea port cuz of the fear of loosing business men from those areas......but then business moguls will always have their doings

Tinubu started this particular project and he has also promised to develop the Calabar port if elected president. If you people are serious, vote massively for Tinubu to be president. He will deliver as promised.

What I don't understand is why you compare Lagos with other states? Do you know Lagos was once the former capital of Nigeria?

Stop looking for excuses for your failing governors. This LFTZ and deep port was started by Tinubu. The port is being financed by Chinese investors and not FG. In fact, FG only has 5% stake in the port. So, what has Lagos Island being a former FCT got to do with the massive development we’ve seen in the Lekki axis since 1999?

Other states must key into this and we should be exporting...not importing. Its no win at all.

It is not an FG project and the FG is not establishing it
The only involvement of the FG is to "APPROVE" because the constitution gives it that power beyond approval the conceptualization was LASG and the funding private sector

Lekki
Warri

The Tinubu factor and legacies in Lagos alone is behind the progress of the state , if he can do this at the states level why not at the federal level. Investors believe in him more than any other candidates that will rather save or maintain status quo.

There's Dangote jetty here already....most of the materials for refinery construction came in through the jetty

Where are the roads
this is maritime and besides if there'd be need for roads it will be easily done because of the investments in those area will drive developments . We know Lagos state governments get things done easily so long as it's part of the city plan. Why the Apapa roads are dilapidated is due to the facts that they are federal roads tho the state government and private companies helps as well .

Is Lagos state the only state in Nig?. Can't they build seaports in states that do not have one?

What's the rationale behind having sea and int'l airports in Lagos state and one or two states only?

What's the federal govt's plan on taking industrialization to other states?

How does the govt hope to solve the problem of migration of people from other parts of the country to Lagos?

What are the plans of govt to tackle the issue of heavy traffic and overconjestion in Lagos?

If you want seaport, tell your state government to build one. This one you’re seeing was started by the Lagos state government during the Tinubu administration and financed by private investors.

Vote in people with bright ideas like Tinubu to rule your state and stop complaining about the achievements of other states.

Sometimes I wonder if these other states have governors governing them. Before you know, they'll start blaming Bubu and Tinubu for their calamities.

In as much as other State like Delta have a shameless Government, Paddy paddy and Federalism system of government is also one of the major setback. Lagos State is surrounded by water so it’s expected they have a privately own seaport by private organizations . I really dey shame for my Delta State! Traditional rulers and Delta State government killed development in the State

So Lagos State shouldn't take pride in its own initiative? Or I don't get your point.
Lagos State is killing it man! Government shouldn't own business. That's inefficient.
If I were you I'll focus on the GDP and Revenue impact of the projects/initiatives to Lagos State economy. This should give more headache to Lazy governors from other states and people who will say Lagos was an FCT. Indeed thinkers rule the world.

Dangote did not key into the Sea port. He has his own Jetty/Quay for Fertilizer export and SPM for oil export and crude import.

What are you saying The Refinery and fertilizer plants are located inside Lagos free trade zone ! Though there's Dangote jetty functioning for the past 3 years now

It is suppose to reduce the cost of things..(not by any large rate though)

there are extra cost incurred with the inefficiencies of apapa and tin can ports ...that extra cost can be saved and passed to the masses if the business men who are mostly our eastern brothers will be willingly to..

plus it increased revenue for both the FG and state government..
if you live in lagos and know ilupeju very well ,have you ever got to wonder why industries just jam-packed themselves there..

well you will see the same in ibeju lekki in less than a decade

lastly it not drama..there is seriousness to deliver the port this year
