Great thread.... interesting... educative. They did well to make his home a monument... a tourist attraction. Just going through this thread brought on a sadness in me... is like it touched my soul ... this man is the legend of legends. Thank you Disclaimer12. I have always loved Madiba but your thread endeared me to him more. I do check out literature written as comprehension passages for kids in elementary school. I see a lot on American greats like Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, John F Kennedy and so on. I do see stuff on Nelson Mandela too. It's disheartening that our other African leaders never attained this cult hero status. Their atrocities won't let them.
