You are missing the juicy part of the hustle in Lagos.
There is always surge in the morning from mainland to island and island to mainland.
And there is no traffic, no Lastma or LG touts, riders are quick and ready to go.
And also in the night surge and no traffic cos (ikr, mowe $ abule egba drivers would have gone home to sleep)
You will burn more fuel and energy driving in traffic during day without surge.

However midnight and early morning driving is very risky, if boys grab you for corner... rest Na history.
Do what favors you...
I can’t be dragging with Lastma n traffic during the day

Online for over 11 hours, did 15 trips but yet I couldn't get the bonus because I refused to accept all trips.

Crazy

The first screenshot is that of a young girl that planned with her boyfriend to scam me of my labor.

The guy booked and started texting immediately that he's deaf and dumb and cannot hear me if I should call. I don't know that the reason he did that was that he has already planned with the small girl to run me street. The number he added wasn't going through and it was well planned so I shouldn't bother calling it. Before I got to their pickup location, they were both outside waiting. All are plans so I wouldn't have the need to call.

I took the girl from Akoka to Surulere and the trip ended 2400 and Bolt asked them to pay 2200. The girl sent my account number to the guy. He inputted my account number in his bank app and send the screenshot when the transaction has not been authorized.

I disagreed with the girl and told her to tell the guy to send receipt after the payment has gone through but the nefarious guy claimed to have done it.

After much delay of my time, I decided to let her go because my other rider was already calling.

After I waited for long, I didn't see any money. I tried calling but the number is switched off. It was then I knew my suspicion was right. The guy planned with the girl from the onset to play dumb so it will be easier to carry out their scam.

I'm putting this out so people know that there's no extent these guys can't go just to scam drivers. Everyday, new tactics.

But I place a curse on that guy and the small girl. They will labour in vain. I was cursing them in church today. They will never see good in their life.

No... You see, this is the reason many prayers are not been answered by God... The prayer request should be for him to remain dumb and deaf since that is what he wished for himself.
And for the girl, she'll marry to a deaf and dumb man.

Oya prayergrin

And to you, next time remember that a bird at hand is worth while... Next cancel the ride waiting and go offline till you see your money.

No job is complete with money at hand. TF if not the normal mode of payment so if you must do it I see my money b4 you leave else I take you to my house to do 1 week house girl/boy

Curses don’t work, so save your energy. You only have yourself to blame. You saw that he clearly sent screenshot of a pending transaction, yet you let her go and moved on because of another useless ride. There’s nothing new here, you only fell for a cheap mugu. I am sure your record on e-hail go don dey on elite stage, so, you truly might be needing to reduce driving spirit.
Thank God other businesses don dey gel as you said, na the koko be that. Cos this driving no be something wey person fit do till retiring age - Naaaaah!
My own focus too is my business which I have plan for already. This e-hail will be used to set my business so that I can become a full home appliances dealer - I have already registered my business (a limited business). Na to finance it remain but I'm doing it small small sha, but growing bigger in it is my goal.
My plan na to get HP somewhere (whether Nigerian used or Toks) and pay up within 15-18 months and stop driving after that cos I know I would have saved enough to do my business while I'm also a car owner. smiley
This is exactly my goal and I don't want it to pass 2 and half years to achieve this. I never pray to do this driving up to 3 years before I leave am.
Btw, omoh, yesterday traffic at lekki epe express way going to ikate - Igbo efón mad. Spent like 25mins inside traffic.
As I dropped the riders at on Adebisi Oyenola street which completed my 12 trips to win 2.6k bonus yesterday, na so I went offline, zoom to mainland straight like around 6pm. Spent over 50mins. As I landed on mainland, ogudu precisely, na so I switched online and my 1st trip on mainland took me to Shomolu. angry
Mainland hustle dey vex me. I hate this Shomolu-bariga axis. Na one of the forbidden areas on my list. angry
After dropping the rider, I went offline and I drove empty to Maryland. Switched back online and the next order took me to Oshodi. Omoh, I hate driving these areas when it's dark. angry
I dropped rider and went offline straight. Drove back to Maryland, went online and another trip took me to Shomolu again.
Thank God I've already won bolt bonus on island (if you want to win bolt bonus easily, just go straight to lekki, you will be glad you did). I just closed and went home straight - got home 9pm on the dot.
It is well, boss.
While I was in Igbo efón traffic, I saw you but I no come see your Benz. cheesy

You don’t have a job, just continue to apply and move on. Or you Try calling the number with another line and ask about resumption. Worst case walk to the office address and talk to someone. Naija sabi fear when it comes to job.

HP is not a better option, it’s slavery, you are too young to bind yourself to the philistines.
If I'm doing HP to own the car at the end of the journey, is it really slavery?

If I click on contact rider, the only option I see is phone. Has Bolt disabled the inapp call option and even message?
The new update on bolt app has disabled the call rider inapp, that's if you've updated your app.
This is telling us that bolt doesn't encourage phone calls while driving which is safety measure.
You call rider on phone directly, it's your measure. I think that's what they did.
Some riders no get joy. Once you accept their orders like this, na phone call you go receive in 1 second. grin
I've got another phone now, my main phone number which I registered on bolt is on the second phone while my other line is in the phone that I have bolt app on. If I accept your order and you call, I just pick the other phone and put it on outside speaker without any distraction whatsoever.
I greet you, sir.

Hi guys, i reactivated my bolt account after i stopped driving for like 2 years. I have uploaded drivers license and vehicle inspection report but app keeps notifying me to get a new car to activate account whenever I try to go online. I have even tried reaching out to them via the app but they keep telling me they are forwarding the matter to the relevant team. Has anyone experienced this before? How did you solve it?

Pilots, let's try organize a Get together party strictly for Nairalander pilots, it should be yearly GTG party where we meet & mingle, we can come with our wives or babes we will make use of bar that has all sort of sport games like snooker, table tennis n co.
We can make it month of October or early November before festive surge cuz I know everyone will be after that November & December surge period.

We can nominate active members on the thread to coordinate this and bring us all together in 1 group to deliberate on this, if you're in support of this movement, just quote Nice Idea.
