Onome Ebi is 39. What is she still doing in this team?

Why are players like Uchenna Kanu on the bench? Remove Oshoala and move Onumonu to the center, Kanu to the left.

i might probably be crucified for this , but i do hope in some few years time we especially those of us from the south never have to bash, insult or call for the resignation of a NFF boss or any senior official that comes from the north, at least the myth that an educated southerner will always improve our sports should be buried for now and while this might look like Pinnick bashing, some would say i am not considering finances and every other problems he is going through please note that nobody has ever been given blank cheque in nigerian sports, all had to fight to get their finances, and we always overlook that financial struggle while insulting the northerners when they are at the helm of affairs. Outside all his troubles, the fact that everything i mean every aspect of our sport is dimishing is not a good report card, while people will point fingers to Sunday Dare and Buhari, i accept that factor too, but guess what Pinnick has always protected himself under FIFA as NFF being an independent agency with no government control and influence so he should bear the brunt of whatever is going on, his score card is becoming appalling .

Has she set a foot wrong?
Onome is an old warhorse and she's one of the best in the team, she deserves a the spot.

Looks like the super falcons coach is being assisted by his wife? What a shabby team, filled with individual play and zero team work

I hate to say it. But our girls got owned from Start to finish.
Waldrum was high on cheap rum. Starting Chikwelu and playing Ajibade deeper? Ucheibe benched for 90?? Ucheibe that bossed the midfield vs Canada?? Na wa ooo.

Didn't he see the urgency after the likes of Ordega and Ikechukwu came in?

And how this man wasted Onumonu on the wings beats me. That babe is a Number 9. An instinctive striker. Oshoala should have been sent to the wings not Onumonu.

Anyway, this loss is on Waldrum who was obviously high on cheap rum.

Congrats to the Banyana Banyana for their deserved win.

I hope like in 2002, 2004 (a draw), and 2018, that the girls will bounce back and fly all the way to the final to redeem themselves again... as usual.

Coz if not.... This tournament is SA's to lose.

Elyte89 talk am for the Super Falcons thread. I just burst out laughing. I never even comment there. I am heading there soon.

Indeed Waldrum reminds me of 2020-2021 Rohr.

Waldrum matter tire me today, I swear. You play the Olympic Champs so good and without Oshoala but today, you have her and you play absolutely rubbish football.

Our midfield was totally wack. No convincing periods of smooth passing sequences except one or two moments. Having Ajibade play deep was depressing. Her ball skills and drive were needed in the #10 role.

Chikwelu should gtf!!! angry

Two solid years with the team, and yet no improvement... No definite pattern of play... Thay Randy fellow is worse than Rohr!

Talking about Oshoala, who else notice that her dip in form in the national team started since we started appointing foreign coaches? I don't want to be sentimental, but it appears the tactics don't work for her.. Even Onuoma.. All this nonsense long ball... It's a coward's tactic...

Forget she gave the assist to Rasheedat.

She is 39. She is a warhorse, but a 39 year old one. Kgatlana was too fast and agile for her.

She is too old to man an ambitious defense. She is not a bad player by any means, age has just caught up with her.

Alozie, Ohale, Onome, Plumtre

Ucheibe, Ayinde

Rash

Ordega, Oshoala/Ify, Uchenna

This should be our starting 11 going forward.

The South Africans rode their luck!

We gat this!

Also our main keeper will return in the next game!

My brother! Noxolo Cesane, that SA #9 will not make Heaven. Totally bamboozled our Oyibo star. No mercy at all. grin

Ashley had a good game alongside her Fullback partner, Alozie but both got owned in 2 key moments that led to the SA 2 goals.

Oshoala is injured. She should leave the tournament and go get medical treatment instead of playing with injury.

Omagbemi was doing well with the team until she was forced out because she supported the girls to fight the NFF and sport ministry to get paid their dues... Under her we won the WAFCON in Cameroon by beating Cameroon themselves in their backyard... This current super falcons team is struggling to beat even average teams...

TheLoneCitizen:

Ejuke really grabbed CSKA by the throat with this Herta talks.

Yesterday he returned to training in Novogorsk and coach showed him how he wanted him to improve from their recent friendly against Zenit.

Brother didn't tell them that Hertha had approached him privately for negotiations.

On normal grounds, CSKA should be reporting Hertha to FIFA/UEFA for taping up their player, but their are on their own.

Hertha survived relegation last year through play-offs.

On Monday, Ejuke was asked by media if he wanted to still remain with CSKA, his response:

"Football is my life. I feel comfortable here and I will do everything to make the team win and be in the best positions."

Really disappointed with how brother handled this.

Buzzing to see him in mainstream Europe.
