elyte89: There is no space for him!! Dennis, Aowniyi, Dessers and Moffi had better stats than him last season.. Inaki is a very average player... The most amazing thing about him isn't his ability but his fitness level... 9 Likes 1 Share |

jihday:Yes cos we have magnificent Osimehn and Awoniyi not in Nigeria squad against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome showed depth in our CF position but I still believe Awoniyi should be a direct replacement for Victor Osimehn....Inaki if he is a Nigerian, sure he can compete but fact remains that he cannot start. 5 Likes |

TheSuperNerd:Oh doctor, when are we going to have another Vincent Enyeama. This guy used a friendly match against Kenya to proved himself.A real goalkeeper trainer university coach Amusa Adisa saw something in him and relegated Ejide to third place just a month to 2002 WC. He had his second cap against England in a WC match and did well ... seriously we need another discovery, not promoting regional division four or three keeper to national team. |

eitsei:U17 or let's me say youth football performance is not a sure bet to success.....one need to get a good agent to laid a solid foundation for one's development or else you lose it.Alampasu got it wrong signing for fareinse and it really affected his development, unlike Uzoho who had a good development from Qatar academy to Spain but guess what real talent is failing him cos by now Uzoho should be a keeper to reckon with the great opportunity he had in 2018 World cup.....okay check out Maduka development, from Dusseldorf b team to Dutch league, now to championship was due to good agent and his decision to play for Nigeria, imagine from regional league to national team and had his cap against Brazil, this development was due to agent advice but a real talented young keeper with this opportunity would have put to rest searching for Vincent Enyeama or Carl Ikeme replacement......check it out talented Osimehn nearly lost it signing for Worlsburg then tell me how average player would survive what Osimehn went through, more reason I respect Taiwo Awoniyi....Kelechi Nwakili till now still trying to find a way out. Youth football performance is not a key to football success. 5 Likes |

statement on their official website, Championship club Huddersfield Town have announced the capture of former Nigeria U15 invitee David Kasumu. A central midfielder by trade, Kasumu has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Terriers, with the club having the option of an extension into the 2025-2026 season. The highly-rated youngster arrives at The John Smith's Stadium from Milton Keynes Dons, for whom he made ninety three career appearances. The 22-year-old scored two goals and set up five others in 5,986 minutes of action for MK Dons. Although Kasumu joined Huddersfield Town as a free agent, MK Dons are due compensation as he was offered a new contract and he's an U24 player. Commenting on the transfer of the Nigerian, Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby told Huddersfield's official website : "We’re delighted to welcome David to the Club, as he is a player who has been on our radar for a long period. "His qualities are exactly the ones we look for in one of our central midfield roles within our game model. David brings fantastic energy to the pitch, can carry the ball well and has great defensive instincts too. "When we met him, it was very clear what a great attitude he has; he shares our ‘Terrier Spirit’ when it comes to hard work." Kasumu could make his competitive debut for Huddersfield Town when they take on Burnley in their opening match of the new Championship season on July 29, 2022. |
