Hello everyone, I recently got a mail that a decision has been made on my appeal and I’m to send my passport and return courier bag. Does this mean my appeal was successful? The email didn’t say if it was approved or not.

When I came here in 2018, I didn't submit sponsor's bank statement.I only submitted the education bond receipt and sponsor's payslips. That's all.

There is no right or wrong way.
You need to visit daft.ie or rent.ie and see searching bt your chances of success is higher when you are on ground.Plus there are new constructions going on and if you have a job you can apply your interest on one of these developers website.I have seen people goth uses easily by doing this but they are expensive too.
I would say get on ground first and maybe do airbnb for about 2 weeks and do aggressive search
doaf22:
Hello guys, thanks for all contributing and advising the newbies .
So,it is no secret Ireland is expensive and has housing crisis even for their own citizens .

It depends on what you want to study if you ask me.
but immigration laws here are way more flexible than in UK.For example, lots of people's visa expired during covid or lots of people couldn't get Job because of covid and the Irish govt have given 5 extensions to people's stay since then. They just announced the 6th extension meaning people who have not gotten job can have their stay extended for about 6months.
right now I would say there are new jobs and people are getting jobs even though it is very competitive.
So what program are you coming to study in ireland?
dude420:
currently in 2022, why should one apply for Ireland universities as compared to uk ? PSW is the same in both countries so what are major reasons to opt for Ireland than UK?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by bigmills: 10:28am On Jul 04, 2022
Yes just 1 year post study visa.I know someone that came to ireland to do this
dude420:
Is the post grad work permit available for higher/graduate diploma courses ?
They are cheaper than masters course from what I can see

I know someone that did this.
I can get the website link for you.
I know first thing is IELTS and you should have at Band 7 x 3 Band 6.5 x 1
Then after you can start the application.I also think you should have at least 3 years nursing experience.
below is a link and a PDF attachment. Please go through the website. All information you need is there and current as well.So you necessarily don't need anyone if you ask me.Then once it's approved agencies will reach you and help get a job, you can travel with job offer, you don't need too much cash in account to apply for the visa.

Abuja =4 weeks
Lagos=8 weeks
So I applied through Abuja.
My first refusal was due to insufficient documents
1. No NPC birth Certificate
2.I didnt submit my personal bank statement
3No sufficient evidence on relation with sponsor
4. Inadequate funds in my sponsor account.

I need help please. I have just been offered admission to study at universal of Limerick. Is English test compulsory for Visa application? How can I pay the tuition fee via transfermate in Nigeria? The tuition fee is 16k. How much do I need to have in my statement of account to apply for Visa? Someone should please respond to my message.

Please how long does it take before the tuition fees reflect in the school account? I was debited on the 30th of june and the school still says the money hasn’t reflected in their acct.

ULimerick accepts installmental payments ; thus you can split your payment into 2- 50% upfront (If you go through this route , the School will issue you a visa covering letter to include in your application).

Or

You can decide to pay in Full. Depending on which the payment plan and if you are using a sponsor, the visa office requires proof of funds showing the balance of your Tuition + additional 7000 euros .

If you've paid in full then a bank statement with evidence of 7000 euros .

If you are using a sponsor, then you will need additional 2m to 5m - this additional amount varies if the sponsor's acct is a personal account or corporate account being presented as part of your supporting docs for visa application.

YES- English test is required by the visa office and the following are acceptable English tests - IELTS (All categories), TOEFL, PTE , Duolingo

Paying through transfermate does not make the process of payment faster neither is it cheaper. I'll suggest you fund your naira account and go through the Trade monitoring website to initiate your payment or if you want it processed faster, source for FX at black market rate and pay your fees- UL will receive funds in less than a week if you pay with FX. if paying from a naira account transaction may take 2 to 6 weeks
