Is it not strange that for some reasons Sanwoolu is not bothered or having sleepless night over his re-election bid, to the extent he turned the country with his principal during the whole presidential primary period? This is a rookie governor who had to deal with the negative media publicity after a year of being elected elected; Someone known more for pointing than actually governing, a governor majorly known for patching roads here and there etc.

One would have thought PDP Lagos will be the ones pulling the crowd Peter obi is pulling on the social media space and the movement going offline to actually seize power from APC; But instead they field a fairly unknown governorship candidate and a comic act as deputy even without any political structure on ground to build on. Apc in Lagos has everything to win the election from having the media, millions of foot soldiers that are card carrying members of the party and even the financial war chest. Then PDP comes up with this nonsense pairing. Smh
PDP as a whole has been a useless opposition not only in lagos but all over Nigeria. Look at how useless the country has been under APC and the half hearted attempt at being an opposition. Imagine the Kuje prison break was under PDP, the likes of el-rufai would have been on channels news having a go at the government.

A Reno that spent days keeping wake in London stalking Buhari and posting videos of him terrorizing Buhari all thru the period he was sick is calling people cyber bullies. If everybody Reno has bullied online donate a cup of water to create a pool for him to swim in; I can tell u Reno will drown.

Most times his criticisms are constructive, sometimes they’re just lame and off it.

Personally I think PDP Lagos is just an arm of APC in Lagos paid to put up a charade making it seem like they have an opposition when In fact they don't.

I mean how does PDP go to sleep for over 3 years and just come around few months to election, parade lightweight candidates and then expect to win miraculously? Look at the nonsense they did with Jimi Agbaje for years, even Bode George recently claimed Jimi was a mole.Something most us had suspected for a long time cos how do contest against APC as a PDP member every 4 years and the APC government allows u to keep Ur contract of supplying drugs and other pharmaceutical products to Lagos state owned hospitals?

Now with this Jandor-Funke Akindele tag team, I doubt PDP is still ready to take seat of power in Lagos. I mean they brought a fairly unknown guy out as Governorship candidate and then back him up with a popular female entertainer who is embroiled in marital issues ( knowing how people in our society take some of these things concerning a woman with broken home). Does this not show unseriousness on their part?

Honestly I have stopped taking Lagos PDP serious.
PDP Lagos have some set of dull people how Jimi scammed them is very funny anytime I remember
Funke won't get them shiit sanwoolu can decide to sleep till election day and still win

ISIS are taking the credit for Kuje. Dis.sTroy, what do you have to say about it?

Or maybe ISIS is the government or something close.

There's a piece of news the populace are seemingly glossing over: 24 hours to the Kuje Prison Break, all armed forces guarding the prison were replaced. And this isn't the first time.

How come ISIS has Intel on our intelligence activities and orders which can only come from the very top?

ISIS are ISWAP's parent organisation, and ISWAP are, according to the army, Boko Haram's sworn enemy. So, how come ISIS freed Boko Haram felons?

Because ISIS = ISWAP = Boko Haram. Like Man. United senior team, U23 and U18 - all playing to win the "Terror Premier League".

Update of the poll. 70,000 people have voted and Peter Obi maintains a total dominance.
Of course I know people would say online is not offline but there is something to note here.

It is Nigerians who are participating in these polls, not robots. Every single Peter Obi supporter is highly energized to not only get their PVC but let others do too and lastly, in previous online polls like these, the margins were never this pronounced. While yes an eventual loser might have been winning online polls, the other contestants usually got a healthy margin of votes in those online polls, now that story has changed. The other competitors can barely get anything from these wide sample of voters. That is telling a story of its own.
The 2 major parties have fielded deeply unlikeable candidates incapable of inspiring ginger in their supporters. Hmmm let's keep watching.

Boris Johnson resignation....

One of the thing in politics that separates Africans from whites is RESIGNATION.

Our politicians prefer to die in power than give it up, that's why shakin old cargo is running for president instead of resting.

Seems Lagos PDP is now going for a Moslem Moslem ticket.
That's how much religion matters to people in the South West.

I don't really know Jandor but who considers Funke a Moslem in the real sense of the word? Most people won't even know her religion and Funke in her private life might not have stepped into a mosque in months

But Atiku is also our conventional politician, why didn't you recommend Atiku? cheesy
Also, he's Hausa/Fulani and this gives him a better understanding of the crisis than a Tinubu, and whatever action he takes against Boko boys won't be misconstrued to be him attacking those that are not his people.

Seems like it might have ti be a solo trip cos what is this?

Same day they sprayed up buharis convoy, same day they killed an ACP in katsina, same day they prisonbreak in Abuja.

Tbh, it's looking increasingly like tinubu is the man for the job, because he's the only real politician competing, and fück a technocrat or economist, I think Nigeria needs a politician now more than ever.

I will say I am not sure if Atiku is really interested in ruling or just catching cruise. He lost in 2019 he left for Dubai and stayed for almost 4yrs, He came for the primaries won the ticket and he is back in Dubai again

Election is in about 6months, He has never been seen campaigning or supporting anyone in his party. No one is really sure of what Atikus plan is and that includes his PDP people. See statements from Ortom, Wike, Obaseki, Fayose who are expected to be his main support in the south
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 2:33pm On Jul 07, 2022
I was speaking to the point, and Atiku did some consultations before and after the primaries. As of now, Atiku is the only candidate with a policy document, and he's had it available for about two months now. He's also the only candidate that has appointed a media team to see to his campaign.

Running a government is not a class attendance something that you have to mark present every day. As long as he's available at critical moments and has a team setup to see to day to day, he's good. Besides, Tinubu has been absent a lot too, whether receiving treatment in a hospital in Nigeria or France, he's absent. It's only Peter Obi that you can't accuse him of being absent this campaign season.

And as regards Boko Haram and the other crisis in the North, I believe a healthy Northerner would be in the best position to handle it but Nigeria's problem is beyond Boko Haram, e plenty and that's why Peter Obi seems like the most balanced candidate of the lot.

The perceived non challance of Atiku is why many of the PDP governors are complaining, He barely shows support to anyone

Boko Haram is not the only crisis, Though its part of the larger insecurity problem. ISWAP are driven by ideology similar to ISIS but many of those other crimes are driven by youths who do not have a means of livelihood because the economy is not accomodating them

I believe Tinubu and Atiku are the proven administrators that can assemble a good team to jumpstart the economy and absorb the youths who resorted to crime because of hunger. The ones driven by ideology is a different matter and we will need to align with the entire world to defeat the cross continent problem of an ideology driven terror organization. If they are getting funding from Syria Iran etc then Nigeria cannot handle them alone, they need support from other countries too

85% is actually 34,000 out of 40,000.
onyemaair:

Updated poll since then.
See ehn, I believe that at the end, it's Nigerians that are indeed partaking in the poll. Yes, it might just be a poll for educated voters but for that margin to be that wide, we're talking 70 points wide, it reflects a very growing trend..

Imagine a poll of 40,000 people and someone is winning it by 85%, that is 30,000 people out of that 40000 are behind one candidate. That tells a story. And remember this is an anonymous poll. No one knows how anyone voted. That margin is too wide.
