Completed Voter's registration in the South South has improved. Lagos and Osun is impressive while Anambra and Ebonyi needs to keep up the pace. But I still don't understand how Borno State has a high volume of online voters registration.

INEC :THE WHOLESOME FRAUD HAS STARTED.

By Political Animal.

Dear @inecnigeria, Something is not adding up. Borno is ravaged by so much insecurity. As at last year, only 4 local govt had access to mobile network. How did Borno move from 6328 to 501,347 in space of 10months? The fact that it's online registrations makes it unbelievable!!
States that struggled to register candidates for WAEC are doing unbelievable numbers. How?? Remember the issues of electronic transfer of election results was vehemently opposed last year because of poor network in these states, how come they have network for online registration?

How is Borno state matching Lagos How? @inecnigeria? What are you guys cooking please? These figures don't add up. With the economic hardship, more people have moved to Lagos in the past 4-5years. How is Borno almost matching the numbers in Lagos for God’s sake .What's happening?
We have more smart phone users in Lagos state than any other state in this country.
We are talking about ONLINE REGISTRATION here.
How is Borno state matching Lagos state? @inec should explain.

It takes a certain level of education to be internet savvy. Can someone please explain to me like i'm a 5 year old how educationally less developed states have more online registered voters than say Lagos & Anambra, states with highest literacy level in Nigeria
It is unfortunate that many
southerners are working so hard for PVC registration offline and online but the states and their numbers remain low and embarrassing . But some states in the north where internet penetration is very low & less populated, have numbers by
@inecnigeria voter registration that keep going high..

This is the same bias, imbalance and injustice that made many Southerners loose hope in Nigeria.Nigeria will never see development if this mass corruption is encouraged.. We must stand up and start asking the right questions!
@inecnigeria pls explain this!

Rivers and bayelsa that are doing well in numbers, but if they tell you how much cash people are spending daily to bring people out for this registration.... You will almost run mad.

The unfortunate thing is that southern politicians who should be bringing this to the fore and mount pressure on INEC to offer explanations are very busy scrambling for VP role or struggling to be part of a government in 2023 that will no never be in Nigeria again .Whether APC or PDP.

The "wholesome" fraud has begun. This is called cradle to grave type of fraud. No longer the half and full ballot snatching.
They Know the end game based on the “obedient movement “and have started sowing the seeds of rigging. They have started the journey for electoral fraud . That's what @inecnigeria is doing.
#inecstoptheonlineregistrationfraud

Please stop talking like an illiterate. There are no magomago in it because fingerprinting and facial recognition technology makes it impossible for multiple registration.

Something is wrong somewhere. In the South you have people turning out enmass to register. Some of the registration centers are so much populated that they look like music carnivals yet we keep seeing these low figures each week. Someone called me yesterday asking where to register because Opara Square crowd and Enugu East centre was too much.
We haven't seen over flowing population in the north coming to register, yet we see x3 of the nunbers down South.
Inec should be coming out with explaination, it's not adding up.

This is very good.... if Peter obi's supporters really mean business.. they should now apply more pressure on getting people to register in the states they stand a good chance of being favored. i.e. work on getting the needed 25% of votes in other states... then push hard at getting enough registered voters in other support states.

INEC should STOP deceiving Nigerians.

The data we want now is the number of PVC issued out of this over 9 million completed registration.

INEC kept on registering people without printing PVC, whereas it's PVC that will be presented before voting.

Apply pressure on INEC to print out and deliver PVC for all registered voters.
You mean that temporary voters card they issued won't count?

At least I have taken a tour of some places in Anambra and Imo. Next stop is Enugu Ebonyi. Presently I am in Rivers. Its a bit different in Rivers state. But still people pay to get the pvc. You are right. I think INEC should also be updating Nigerians of the PVC registration machines available in each local government nationwide.

False. The Igbo has a low population which has always been inflated like others. The most apparent is with the Igbo population because its population is a minority population inflated to majority.
Numbers do not have emotion and that is why they are all returning low for Igbo population with better data capturing and biometrics now being used.

Internet subscribers; low

Inec registration; low

Jamb applicants writing Jamb in SE; low;

Jamb applicants based on State of origin; low

land mass; low
Yet
Analogue Census; High(?)

So all these data conflate to prove that Igbo are a minority group by population but have inflated numbers which call for scientific enquiry.

I used to think that Igbos are a majority in population and that we have more Igbo outside SE but data has proven otherwise. There are more Igbo living in the 5 Igbo SE states and Anambra is no exception..

My hypothesis is that Igbo population has been inflated. The most emperical data show that 20% of Igbo are domiciled outside the SE, 80% are domiciled within the 5 Igbo SE states and the Igbo population is actually a minority population.

Luckily, numbers do not have emotion. Below are the facts:

1. Due to history, cultural affinity, linguistic spread of the Igbo language and Igbo-speakers, most of this 20% Igbo living outside Igboland will be more in states such as Rivers, Delta, Kogi and Benue that border the 5 Igbo SE states than far away places like Lagos, Kano and Abuja.

2. Data from recent inec voters registration for Osun alone is higher than the total registration in Igbo South East (screenshot below)

3. Satelite image of Aba, Onitsha, Enugu, Ebonyi compared to Ibadan show a small area of dense population https://www.nairaland.com/7186666/aba-ibadan-satellite-picture-aba

4. Data from 2021 JAMB registration show that 447,857 are indigenes of SW states that registered their states of origin as Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Ogun for JAMB against 320,306 indigenes of SE that registered their states of origin as Abia, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra. Only 20% (70K out of the 320K) of the JAMB candidates of SE origin live outside the 5 Igbo SE states.

5. Demograhics data of internet subscribers also support my hypothesis like other demographic data captured with better data capturing tools, https://www.nairaland.com/7203013/states-nigeria-largest-internet-subscribers that validated my hypothesis that Igbo population in SE is inflated and the Igbo are a minority group in terms of population.

6. Data from overall inec voters registration show Igbo among the lowest with the only Igbo state, Anambra state, at the bottom of the top 10 https://nairametrics.com/2022/06/30/top-10-states-with-the-highest-number-of-registered-voters-as-of-june-27-2022/

The politicians knew this reality all along hence no serious effort to canvass for votes aggressively in SE like they do for other zones.

SE may just be same population as states with similar land size as it like Kaduna or Katsina or Oyo and the SE is by far the least populated of all the geopolitical zones.

As things stand now, no serious contender can bank on votes from SE and a serious contender will not get the voting strength incentive from the SE.

The SE is a minority vote region even far behind the minority tribes-dominated SS from these data.

Data from JAMB show the Igbo population is abysmally low, so low that only Imo state featured in the top 10 states with registered indigenes sitting for JAMB and for Igbo dominated schools, the Igbo were no. 4 top for universities with UNN ,No. 8 for polytechnics and no single college of Education in Igboland made it among the top 10 colleges of Education with highest registered JAMB candidates !
https://utmeofficial.com.ng/jamb/jamb-registration-statistics-2020-2021-by-course-universities-polytechnics-nce-and-state-of-origin/

On number of JAMB applicants who are Igbo, Anambra state is the Igbo state with the highest number of registered candidates yet was No. 16 on the list far far behind! And all the JAMB candidates registered for JAMB in the whole of SE just adds up to about the total candidates in Lagos state alone or sum for Oyo and Ogun.

As at now the best and cleanest data indicate that about 80% of Igbo are domiciled in the SE while 20% are domiciled outside the 5 Igbo SE states.

Out of the 320,306 Igbo candidates in the 2020-2021, max.(when you add total candidates that registered for JAMB in those 5 SE states and assume they are all Igbo) only about 250K(~80%)account for candidates that sat for exam in the SE while about 70K(20%) are Igbo candidates who registered outside the SE to represent the total Igbo candidates.
It makes sense because you have more Igbo domiciled in SE than outside SE.

This is part of the analogue census of the past now being burst by recent and improved data captured with modern tools and technology.

The era of counting dogs, cats, chickens, cows and ghosts and doing multiple registration to inflate numbers is over. Thanks to need for more credible elections and strong political will to fight money laundering and terrorism.

You can argue with JAMB, NCC, Telcos, INEC, Google map and those filling their NIN forms with their states of origin.

I did not create or collate those numbers yet they all conflate to prove that Igbo population is a minority , 80% are domiciled in the 5 SE Igbo states and 20% outside SE Igbo states and that Igbo population is a minority but have been highly inflated from a minority to a majority.

Linguistic spread is different from population spread. There are billions of people speaking English but English people are not even up to 200m people by population.

As at today, in Nigeria, Igbo has a minority population, Igbo not among the 3 major tribes and the politicians know this. Even Igbo politicians know this fact.

Please post the data
