Gachagua deducted 7% unapologetically (even more than that) from the previous 44% UDA votes. Karua added a whopping 20% and deducted 7%--- effect of chauvinism —people who don't believe in female leadership—. That means, she added a good 14% to azimio votes to the previous UHURU & RAILA static votes.

Actually he's a liability which is why of late he's kept off the campaign trail. Fyi, as an example of his unpopularity due to his egregious contempt for law resulting from his arrogance, (BBI,airport bus story, sacking Kenya Ferry Service board etc etc) he bulldozed changes to the tea industry.
He, or rather Munya on his orders changed the directorship of tea factories(which are private entities) and promised to move the bonus payout from October to early July.
