I think we will be facing group B's runner up. Tunisia or Cameroon. I prefer Tunisia for now. If the coach get his formation right, this AWCON will be a walk over for us.

Toni Payne had a good game vs SA playing as a RW. She faded a bit as the second half wore on but she ended up with a good solid showing overall. Verdict: Good game.

Toni Payne now played LB vs Botswana. A position not new to her in the GWG as that was where she also played vs Canada earlier this year. A mix of LB/LWB depending which shape we took in phases of 352 and 532.

Toni yesterday was excellent. An 9/10 for me. Brilliant on the overlap. Underlapped pretty good and bagged an assist from a sweet cornerkick cross. Almost all her deliveries were on point yesterday.

Like I have said and analysed on the Super Falcons thread, Toni Payne is yet to have a bad game in the GWG. Trust me, I know this coz since her debut she just haven't dropped below a 7/10 showing.

The most versatile player of the Super Falcons. Solid at LB. But her future with this team lies further up the pitch in my analytical and tactical opinion.

In the long run, I expect Patricia George to return and own the LB role.

I long to see what a Fullback combo of Alozie (RB) and George (LB) will be like. It makes me salivate.

Anyway, back to the whole point. Toni Payne is no underperformer in the Super Falcons.

AM, CM, LB, RW, LW.... roles she has executed in the GWG and she is yet to drop a stinker. Payne is one of the most consistent performers in the present Super Falcons if not the most consistent outrightly.

Show more respect for the highly talented Ms. Versatile.

She has the potential to become the team's Messi. The X-factor and talisman. I saw that clearly in the last match and stated as much here.

Waldrum is committing a mortal sin by wasting such a player at LB when the team is clearly lacking in creative attacking talent upfront.

PS:
She was bang average against S.A though. But that one is on the coach for having the team play only stupeed long balls instead of trying to make chances through creative passing and dazzling runs which Payne excels at.

The Falcons have become a replica of Rohr's SE. A team with promising options in attack but a stone-dead midfield. Rita Chikwelu is now far past her prime.

Let's see how Waldrum manages that.

For someone they bought for 300k? They should go and sit down. That's already 20x their investment at the very least.

rangers is a greedy club. Imagine holding out for 25m for bassey who they got for nothing from leicester

The fee stated above is the reason clubs interested in bassey got dispirited to continue with the move cus that amount is too much of a risk for a rookie defender who just had a good season

If rangers wanted like 5-10m for bassey he would hv moved even before aribo

Good but is this boy good enough for the EPL? That is the question on everyone's lips. Does he have the sinequanon to thrive and make his mark, or is he going there to warm the bench instead of remaining in the SPL or going to Turkey or Belgium where his abilities could get him playing opportunities?

How is it greed, imagine if a youngster from an English club put a man of the match performance in the Europa league final do you know how much he would be valued, what has Rice played to be valued at 150 million

I don’t worry about his technicality I'm only worried about his physicality, but Southampton have a good number of Dms and Cms so they are signing him as an AM or Winger and we know the closer to goal Aribo plays the better he is

Well, I really don't expect much from this move, but I will like him to disappoint me.

Aribo is touted for his versatility, i believe that is the most salient reason for the move.

for the Scottish league it’s way too expensive.

Atleast 10-15m for bassey is more ideal. Rice’s price tag is the reason he will rot at westham

Forget....The Scottish league isn't highly rated...
The highest transfer fee ever received in the league is the 25m Arsenal paid for Kieran Tierney from Celtics..

For a rookie, Europa league MOTM or not, the fee Rangers are demanding for Aribo is too much...

for bassey you mean?

The 25m rangers demanded for bassey made the likes of wolves,Aston villa, leicester and Southampton to drop their interest

Even Chelsea at a point we’re interested in signing and shipping him off to a mid table epl club on loan as well

I'm hearing that the player arrested for rape in London is Thomas Partey. I hope it isn't confirmed.

Before now, some of these racist British people had already singled out Black players who were 29 including Partey and were playing permutations on who it was. Then I was just hoping he wouldn't be black. Now it looks like their speculation might just be true. For unknown reasons, Partey is not part of Arsenal's preseason squad.

If he had been a youngster in an English club with a Europa league final man of the match he would have been going for 60-70 but because he is in the Scottish league 25 mil is too much, imagine Aribo with 70 games in one season is going for 10 million while Lavia that have not had a senior appearance is going for 15 million
