Hello @Predator,

This (attached photo) is precisely the feedback the MP's office returned.

So does it mean, eligibility review is yet to commence, rather they are still on application completeness check?
The Eligibility has started..

From the screenshot posted, HND is a three year advanced diploma course while BSc remains 4 years for most schools in the world. Even though we still have many fast track BSC programs. Please i will like to understand better how HND is higher than BSC. This is not about questioning your findings at all.

Well when it comes to Express Entry (Immigration) in Canada, HND gives you more points than Bsc because you evaluate 2 certificates (OND & HND). I get your points though but I am telling you what I know from personal experience. I have been in Canada for a while now if that gives you an idea.

Good day everyone,
Please I need help with respect to my tuition deposit.I want to pay tuition deposit at Thompson Rivers university, but the option there is paymy tuition and the exchange rate is on the high side. There's no option for form A,I contacted them for account details so I raise form A but they still referred me to paymy tuition.
Please gurus in the house how do I resolve this.
Thank you

Check if the paymy tuition option generates an invoice, if it does, the invoice will have payment details (account details) and with that you can apply for remittance through form A

You need to give them the residential address in your application. Even if it’s an address in Nigeria, they’ll still help you to make enquiry. So don’t fret

SOP is your only way to explain to the VOs your situation as regards many factors such as Home Ties, Financial Status and Personal Assets, Career or Academic Progression, reasons for wanting to study the course among many others.

If it were to be the US visa, for example, you would be called for an interview, but Canada does not do interview: SOP is your only way to convey your message.

Hi..

I've been following this page for some time and reading through. I applied for a post grad and I saw somewhere in this thread...can't remember the pg now that having a 2.1 and going for a post grad instead of Msc can be seen as a red flag.

Please, has anyone gotten a study permit having a 2.1? Or should I abort mission? I need clarity, biko!

Thanks again buddy.

I did Bs. Aeronautics so, I've been having issues with getting the right 2-yr PGD course. except for Advance Diploma with bachelor's degree as pre-requisite. Another thing is If I get a 1-year PGD, can I continue with another PGD upon finishing the first 1-year PDG?, just to enable the 3-yr work permit?

Thank you.
Yes I believe some schools have that option and people talk about it frequently on this thread.

Hello bamanger

Of course..

Remember the purpose of submitting your SOA is to convince the Visa Officers than you have enough funds to take care of your Studies and Living expenses..

Even though you have paid your 1st year tuition, you dont wanna submit an empty Statement of account..

Peace

I need an urgent advise. I got an admission for 2 year post graduate course and tuition tuition fee is $17,000 per year. After paying the 17k, when submitting my POF from my sponsor, does it require us having the second year's tuition fees and living expenses in sponsor's account as POF?

Facebook market place is your best bet. You’ll get from an individual close to your location. You’ll know that’s a genuine “foreign used laptop” and you can bargain for a cheaper price.

Please, give me the link to the Facebook market. Let me look out.

Does canada allow dependents??

Three MPs have already declined my request because i am not in Canada. They said that this specific service is only available to Canadians, not foreign nationals.

I don’t think it’s proper to change payment method when school has offered one. There’s a reason they use paymytuition and once your payment is confirmed by paymytuition, they’ll send your payment confirmation to the school which takes about 7days, Then the school generates an official invoice for you which is what you add to your application for study permit. Pls don’t try to bypass the school policy. It’s just for your own good. My opinion.

This is completely wrong here. If you don't have any reasonable certificate, you have WAEC or NECO if its not bought or fake. Apply for a BSC course for Christ sake. This is terrible. Stop painting our country bad. Stop it.

Baba I have a good WAEC RESULT, so I can go ahead to start the process of acquiring a BSC Canadian admission and visa not minding my age? I'm 29 years now. I can't change my past but will endeavour to make things right this time around. Please I need your clear answer on this. Or please Can I talk to you on the phone?

Just change the location filter as you see fit. Or type in Google “apartment for rent in xyz, Canada Facebook Marketplace”

Nah I think it is if you have a Masters and then you want to go for PG that’s a red flag. But if it’s from BSc to PG, many people are doing that here. I spoke to a friend that just landed, he has a BSc and now going for a PG.

I stand to be corrected though.
