Bros, just go for BSc, draft your SOP well or get someone to do so for you. You’ll just need to explain the gap and why this would be beneficial to you and all that. Every other information on proof of funds and home ties you can get on this same thread.

It TRULY SADDENS my heart that there are actually people here that have gotten their PPR around May and June and refused to share their timeline or success story.

And before they got that PPR, they were around this place asking questions daily, people answering them, people giving them reassurances and all.

But after getting that visa, nothing again.

This is really bad. The little you can do after successfully getting a visa especially if this platform was a big part of your success story is to share your timelines. Others can learn from it and the forum can keep going.


I hate excuses like I forgot or at my time or whatever, when you were on the hot seat, rushing to send mails to VOs and MPs, seeking for advise, you absolutely had no excuses and took from anybody that could help you. Writing a timeline shouldn't actually take you more than 10 minutes of your time.

I got an email from IRCC this evening requesting for the routine application info (Full name, DOB, UCI, APP No., etc.) and All documents submitted with your previous request.

What does this mean please? Although i have sent them all the documents earlier submitted with my visa application again though.... *biting my fingers*

It is not yet a complete application may be error on documents submitted, missing information!
But from my own personal experience from other visas application not canada ooo,the United Kingdom i mean..

The application will not proceed further until those documents and correct information is provided..

It can result to withdrawal of application by visa officer if those information and documents is not provided

Red Flag syndrome as regards cad. Study Visa in academics....eh...there should be progression....no loop holes....if you have (2.1-say banking and finance_B.sc) ...you should go for be going for M.sc in banking and finance or other related course.......This progression should be there...

I've been following this page for some time and reading through. I applied for a post grad and I saw somewhere in this thread...can't remember the pg now that having a 2.1 and going for a post grad instead of Msc can be seen as a red flag.

Please, has anyone gotten a study permit having a 2.1? Or should I abort mission? I need clarity, biko!

Nah I think it is if you have a Masters and then you want to go for PG that’s a red flag. But if it’s from BSc to PG, many people are doing that here. I spoke to a friend that just landed, he has a BSc and now going for a PG.

My passport will expire october 2022. I applied for a renewal at passport office ikoyi and my appointment date for capturing is September 2022.
