Will the embassy conduct interview on a public holiday? I have interview on 12th which is a public holiday according to the Federal Government.

How did your interview at the embassy go ? When did you book appointment? Are you Category B?

Alamsvcc:

I will only advise you with two options based on my own experience last year.
1. Accept the admission given to you if and only if ;
A. There is a possibility for you to enroll online, pay the semester fee and possibly take one or two courses with them online while waiting for your one year waiting period to elapse.
2. Accept the admission, then go for a LEGIT Residence Permit outside here bearing in mind that it will also take six months from the date of issuance before you can use it to apply for your student visa in that country. In my own case, it took three to four months for them to process it for me in one of the French countries I got their Residence Permit. It was digital and in stages. But the last stage was when I was called to come for biometric Data capture and submission of bank account statement of that country which they require a minimum of 50k CFa in the account.
Don't mind my long story. I'm saying this because your success tomorrow will give you the morale to advise another person.
On my day of interview at the embassy last week, they first of all collected the Residence Permit, qued in the number in their system to verify it's originality, they compared my data used for the Residence Permit with the one obtainable in my passport and that of my Nigerian national I.D card. They drilled me with various questions concerning their country all for the purpose of finding out if I actually live there.... but thanks be to God I spent a week there when I visited there the first time for data capture and opening of Bank account. So I was able to answer him confidently.
Imagine some questions like;
1. Where do you live in Togo? ( Remember he has the address you used for your Residence Permit in his system. He just want you to Bleep up by not saying another thing or even pronouncing the address wrongly.
2. When did you come here? (Bear in mind the time you started processing the Residence Permit because he is already seeing it in the computer and the date of the issuance.)
3. What are you doing in togo?
4. How much do you make in a month?

Remember after all these, we then started the main interview.
I spent about 45mins with him.

Pls in the name of God, go for legit Residence Permit or you wait patiently for one year here! Because your sin will find you out once you go with fake.
Trust Germany in data storage.

Did u live in Togo for those 3months?

Hey Guys, i am new here and would like to say this platform is a very helpful one and thanks to all those who contribute.

I have been waiting for a Category B Visa Appointment since September 2021 and I am wondering if I will get an appointment by September which will make it 1 year.
Is there anyone here who waited for 1 year and got an appointment?
Also, has anyone been waiting for more than one year?

I know sometimes its a lot of stress to reply when you don't need anything anymore but any info from anyone with these experiences will help the rest of us who are waiting. Thank you smiley

Hello, my good people. I'm new here and I have some questions, please. My brother graduated from secondary school on 2020. He went for OAU predegree immediately. He wants to study mechanical Engineering, and I would like him to go to Germany for that due to this ASUU issue and better opportunities outside. Please, how do I go about this. I have trolled online but I can't make sense of the information. He only has his WAEC, he is currently undergoing a mechanic apprenticeship and also has a good Jamb result. Please, advise me.

He has to do till B1 in Goethe(Lagos) for like year get the Certificate the apply for Studienkolleg in Germany because he doesn't have the necessary qualifications to enter directly into a German University. Google what a Studienkolleg is, and you would get more information

Who can advise me here

1. I have msc and bsc in urban studies in Nigeria
2. I have an appointment date which applied for msc category B
3. But The German admission i have now is a bachelor degree in entirely different discipline.

Who has been in this same situation before? And how were you able to convince them at the embassy?

Thanks someone said Gambia residence permit can be backdated, please is this true, and as for Togo they can only give their residence permit to you if you are working and living there, please reply i dont want to make mistake thanks
Janella12:

Travelling to an African country requires you having a valid residence permit for at least 6months..
If you can patiently wait for that then Togo is a good idea

Hello everyone,

Please I need an urgent answer to this question. Has anyone here travelled from Turkey To Germany before? I was asked to provide exactly the requirement from German embassy in my home country. Should I take travel insurance and a dummy ticket with me or I should wait till I get approval. I'm not sure how's it's done here but travel insurance and dummy ticket were not stated on the list in Nigeria until approval I guess.

Anyone that has an answer to this should please reply. I need an urgent answer.

Thank you.

Janella12:

I really don't have any idea about Gambia.. But I'm a little familiar with Togo, you can get a work or study permit.
