Dalot also improved. If he didn’t make that run, the second goal wouldn’t have happened.

Now replace him with AWB or Shaw and see if they’ll make that run.

Bruno has to improve. Yes.

VDB also has to improve. Else, he won’t be able to displace Bruno.

In the end , healthy competition will see who should start or not. At the moment VDB is just not there.

But for real, VDB has only impressed like 2 or 3 times since he joined United. His first few matches was characterized by misplaced short passes. The explanation then was he was not on the same wave length with his teammates. I really don't know what y'all are holding on to.

I remember VDB was subbed in during one of those pressure matches for Ole and dropped a good performance. We all slated Ole that day.
Following week, he started VDB..Think he was subbed off by 60 minutes or so.
