It wasn't a personal statement just a general one, to prevent politicians from turning churches to campaign ground at desperate hours. Moreover Jonathan's lost in 2015 was self made, as he literally jettison the people who made him while focusing on the North. Yet they ridiculed him with their vote when it mattered most. So whose fault?

Very myopic view. It is wrong for another south westerner to rule after OBJ 15 solid years later but it isn't wrong for another northerner to rule immediately after buhari. As your short sightedness in voting your Obi might give atiku an edge if southern votes are divided.

On the issue of Muslim ticket, if the North could agree to vote for a Northern christian vice president since Tinubu is a Muslim, this wouldn't be a problem.

But come to think of it, aren't the likes of South Eastern equally having a problem with Tinubu because he's a Muslim and Yoruba?

TBH, religion is just a mask in front of God. God only sees your heart. If your heart is evil, God doesn't know you, irrespective of your religion.

That being said, Tinubu's legacy is unrivalled. Out of all the presidential aspirants, he's got the best legacies among them. He's a competent liberal leader which should be the fundamental basis when you're voting a leader.

Stop thinking like this. Igbos don't have problem with Tinunbu neither do there have problem with Muslims. However the stand of South East is that it is their turn for the sake of equity, justice and unity. Besides Tinunbu at this very stage of his life is not Worthy of the presidency. Maybe a Tinunbu of 1999.

For the first time ever Nigerian votes will be split along 3 parties.this is good

For the first time ever the know trully stand a chance.this is good too.its like that scene in avenger where dr strange lifts his finger at iron man and says here's the one chance.

The South East should try not to screw it up by been divisive and insulting others.This is the time to meet leaders of other tribes and rally them together.Its a time to make promises and give assurances. You need the others to win.

Here's why they stand a chance.The Lagos votes at the last election where split 50/50 and a lot of Christians then voted Osibanjo.Imagine if they all voted someone else? And if this happened nationwide.

The youths did not vote.A large percentage of the voting demographics were not youths.Imagine of the youths voted?

The truth is APC downplayed the significance of its christian demographic audience. South western christian states will not listen to their leaders they will vote on what their conscience says is right.Ondo for example had always voted against those they perceived as tinunbu stooge.

South East alone does not have the numbers, they should call down and try to play this one right.They stand a very good chance at winning if they carry everyone along
