Pope191 the chief propagandist.
You guys know I don't like discrimination whether by tribe, religion or social class.
It's not everything people should use to joke.

Why would u think an ordinary uneducated northerner cannot also make something useful of his life, work hard and be a responsible family man?
Why would u have a perceived mental picture of someone and judge the person solely by that mental picture without even meeting the person before?
U think u r the only one that has a right to have dreams? to have achievements, and wants to live a better life?? U think u r created differently or specially and some other people are lesser than u
There is a difference in making side jokes and outrightly demeaning and invalidating someone else whether the person is aware of it or not.
Don't cancel, undermine or underestimate a person for no reason.

Secondly,
They say common sense is not common and maturity is not about age. So I would only appeal that we sort for common sense and grow into maturity irrespective of our age.
If u have doubts about what u hear, respectfully seek for further clarification or information, don't ask in a condescending or mocking manner and expect answers. Don't run ur media with half stories and twisted facts. Because, I keep emphasizing this is a public forum where ur post will remain forever as long as this platform exist, it's not a WhatsApp group that chats can be deleted or beer parlor gathering that people don't take serious, it's not a meeting that we can see your face and know when u r serious or joking. New and old members, guest and passerby take home lessons and points from here and as such u cannot afford to make common or joke with real life experiences or achievements of actors in the business. Don't mislead people.

There are over 20,000 drivers on ehailing in Lagos alone. Don't for ones think u know it all or u have experienced it all or u know the capacity of a driver or what is obtainable and what is not. Manage ur own capability and capacity and bear in mind that people are bursting points that are considered ceilings for u. What u cannot achieve is chicken feed for others (U can use sports as a compass) Just like u easily Net 10k daily, there are people wishing they could be like u. In ur mind u have arrived, until u see people who Net 20k, 25k, 30k daily. Just do as ur power can carry, don't kill urself, don't say someone is lying because it is impossible for you to do it. Education, exposure and enlightenment is meant to open up our minds, don't be educated and still have a concave mentality, it will be unfortunate.
This applies to all other aspects of life.

I honestly want to make a joke out of the gibberish you wrote, but on the second thought let me help you. I knew you'll shift goal post as usual. Like peak it's in you.

How do one demean who he doesn't know or ever seen? You are a silent killer. It's not today I've noticed that attitude in you. Bishop once called you double mouth and you are really living up to the name. You have your way of trying to type twist, while shying away from the mean subject.

At no point did I demeaned or discriminate any tribe, religion or social - culture. All good jokes they say it contain some elements of truth, just as Kanuisagoat said yesterday... driving is stressful and the little time we laugh here ease stress. Please how many driver here really enjoy the sallah break? How many have been able to go on a vacation during December break? It is just crazy when you and your likes sum things you do as well and next you start tagging people to it.

I'll start with common sense as you say. If there's any atom of common sense in you as your try to make believe, you won't come online as a confusionist. You won come online with half baked information. Gosh! Every body that quote figures here, do add a pictorial evidence. Imagine Cheerfulgiver come out here to say he made 900k in a month without a proof, please how many people is going to believe him? Do you think I have forgotten the day you claimed to do 11k from mainland to the island within an unfeasible period? As fate will have it, I was also on that same route and can 100% tell there was traffic on that said day. Davit is a complete gentle man, but silently he bares me witness as I got to see him on 3rd mainland bridge on that said day.

Same you came out here to say people pay 300k monthly for proof of funds. That's a silly thing to say. Same you said your neighbours gate man got a car on rental after covid. Lock down was declared on March 30 2020 and we all know how many months we observed sit at home. Here you said someone without any firsthand experience got a car on a rental and within the period of a year and few months bought a Matrix, rent a house and relocate his family. Uncle defend how this happened, damn respect! It is earned, you will get it if you deserve it. If you are truly out to help people as claimed, give them the formular and dont say 2k savings everyday. That will really get me mad at you tonight. Everytime you try to play my figures down, I turn it to blast. 28k plus in the bag today. Dont shy away from real issues and start playing politics of pity. Wake up, no one passess wrong information on this platform more than you. No one tell lies on this platform more than you. I am for real, I don't mix words and I don't shy away from saying things raw.

And at no point did I act know it all. Many times I have car issues and I bring it here. Even you with fleets of cars never had car issues. I can't even remember the last time you ask question uncle Solo. Damn! You are to petty for my liken... don't think I wanna do this. I just dislike folks that tells lie. Night man

If you are that smart, you won't be puttung one app down for the other. Riders prefer Indriver for long distance trips. Ask those living ard Sangotedo what's their morning get away to town? I smile why Glitchronix was looking for Island trip on Bolt this morning, but end up getting Ikorodu. Indrive could have given him nothing less then 10 Island trips from Ketu to Ogudu axis with a good pay.

I won't say Ikorodu is not a good place, nah! I just don't have a good memory on that zone, slept my best car sleep during my Ikorodu days. I remember the day I almost bought a pillow at that same zone.

Meeeeen! I enjoyed reading this, thank you for the tips.

Na wa sha, are you really saying people would want to bypass indriver low commission? Wow! I never even thought of doing that because the commission is very reasonable on indriver.

I already employed your tip of not calling the rider, and it is supported in the literature indriver puts out, as regards to their refund policy. I remember reading something along the lines of if you call a passenger through the app, then the commission is already deducted. I am telling you I never even knew that and I had done over a 100 rides on indriver.

Your tips in a way though, promote unprofessionalism, but it seems with all these apps, you can't always be "professional", with their own unique slave labor algorithms, sigh.

For Bolt, they want you to take every ride, so drivers have to act unprofessionally by clicking arrived when they know that they are never going to that destination.

For Uber, you can't even see destination -- flying blind, so you have to act unprofessional and start calling the rider shouting "Where are you going oooo madam, didn't you hear me?"

Then indriver, oh indriver, the only app where you can come back with less money than when you left your house, as in, magic shit. So now instead of rushing to the riders destination as soon as I accept, I have to be unprofessional and stay put in the same spot till the rider calls me or replies to my in-app message, na wa.

There should be an app for complete driver freedom! , "but no one would be going to certain areas", that might be the argument. However, I do believe there is a driver for every rider, even if you are going to the middle of the ocean, there is a driver that also has to go home back to the ocean and will take you. That driver knows everything about the water and where all other cars sink inside, he knows a secret path that is safe for this car to pass and arrive safely in the middle of the ocean and on time too!

"It will take too long to get rides", it already takes long when a driver has to cancel or a rider has to cancel, wasting precious minutes. Why not remove all these rules and know that when a driver really accepts a ride, he/she is 110% committed to fulfilling it and providing excellent customer service.

Anyways, thanks bro, off to bed. Will see you guys next week, have a lot of car repair, hustling, reading and chores to do from now till Sunday.

May God bless you and all the commenters, drivers and the whole community.

You deserve a medal, infact I really don't know what to say again.. you really buttress my points made.
Weldone comrade and may God bless you too

It's been a nice read, you guys are too much. I am starting my Uber journey today, i couldn't partner with bolt because the inspection office said the car is a 2002 model.
Any tip as i start in a few minutes?

Na which make be the car? Abi you wan dey withheld information.

No tip really, hoping you sabi lagos road already and know that you must observe all traffic rules and signs even the ones wey dey hidden.

Always find a safe spot to park, never park on the road to end trip etc. some riders like to buy things anyhow no gree for them, if na stores wey get parking space that is fine.

Be yourself, don’t talk too much. Make sure you and your car smell nice and look neat. Set up your bank online access so you can confirm transfer real time, always confirm your transfer.

If you don’t feel safe or rider wan dey misbehave, leave am report to bolt say him no pay they will give you at all at all.

Don’t get physical with riders for any reason.

Go to other test centers, you might be lucky to get on bolt. You might need to grease their palms. You also have indriver as an option.
