Leyqute:Maguire was a waste of space on that left side in possession. I remember a few seasons ago i was trying to explain how he was killing our game by slowing down passing on that left side and many here did not understand. But when RR came he tried switching him to the right and moved Lindelof to the left AND ETH has done the same thing. He might start the season as first choice but i don't think he and this system can co-exist. One of them has to be changed. 3 Likes |

afrodoc2:Maguire is a waste of space anywhere he is - left, right and center. He’s suspect defensively and he slows the game every time the ball touches his feet. The main problem now is that he’s the captain. EtH might think taking away the captaincy from him could cause some friction in the team. But if he wants to play the way he wants he has to bench him. And he cannot bench him successfully with him being the captain. Something has to give. 2 Likes |
