Anon123:What if the Naija Masters in MBA and the intending Masters for the Canadian School is MSC Economics, guess they are in 2 different fields. Will mentioning the MBA still pose an issue? |

MumTee:As an international student applying for a study permit, you are expected to demonstrate career and academic advancement as the reason why you are coming to Canada even though the primary goal is to japa. Mentioning either MBA or Msc doesn't show to the visa officer you are coming to Canada to advance your last academic status. Hence why I said you will not be fulfilling your purpose of visit. |

Application submitted: Feb 12 Medical Request:June 14th Medicals done: June 16th Medicals updated:June 17th and 24th (child and mother) Bvl/passprt request : July 18th GOD Almighty showed me mercy,he alone deserves all the Glory.. Got admission In Feb 2021..I deferred for personal and General reasons.. Knowing my profile..i knew I needed a magic touch..been reading the thread for years until I decided to kick-start this journey.. I am full time home maker, never worked and I have a long study gap, I knew I had work to do.. The reason some agents I met said it wasn't possible.. I was gonna opt for Journalism cos I majored in Arts/Humanities With the advice of Justmellow and Frank I settled for a business program since we had documents to prove that... I made my secret findings about Frank ,everyone poured accolades and talked about his expertise.. I concluded I was gonna use him.. He did magic to my application.. he told me I had nothing to worry about..my husbands profile is more than enough to get me Visa.. I didn't even submit my personal statement of account..what the VO will see is just husband ,dad and siblings sending me money..last born palaver lol... APPLICANT'S DOCUMENTS All Cic documents SOP(written by Frank,I proofread to my satisfaction) Unofficial Uni transcript Statement of result Business invoice Business ID Card Notarized Affidavit of sponsorship(written by Frank) Marriage certificate Change of name (newspaper pub) Family pictures(wedding pictures, party pictures, home pictures, pictures, pictures pictures..) Business documents (myself and spouse are directors Bank reference letter stating myself and spouse as signatories to business account. NIN Lassra Admission letter Tuition deposit receipt Certificate of origin Online business course( certificate) Birth cert Certificate of origin Letter from my village King(serves as volunteer letter) Letter headed company letter stating my hubby will be in charge of the business I requested for Gcms and saw the VO wrote (no savings,no income)tho it was "recommended passed"(I didn't like the word recommended, I wanted it to be "passed"and VO had positive things to say about sponsor..like I said I didn't submit my Statement of acct.. Even though Frank said it was nothing to worry about ,I was worried and he had no choice than to tell me to quickly submit a fixed deposit.. I submitted a fixed deposit cert via webform..medical request dropped 30 minutes after I had submitted the fixed certificate...I have no idea if it influenced it or not..Frank said it did not..I was gonna get medical request regardless... SPONSORS DOCUMENTS(SPOUSE) Letter of employment Letter of resignation from former workplace. Treasury bills, fixed deposits. Landed properties Building properties Statement of account with active inflow and outflow and solid balance. Dollar Statement of account with solid balance. Work ID Card Intl passport data page Pictures of us and the kids Old pictures of us(young lovers..lol) NIN Lassra DAUGHTERS DOCUMENTS Intl passprt data page Birth certificate NIN Watlist form and email correspondence of my school's daycare.. Email correspondence asking my school to add her to my health insurance. Pictures of her Birth and christening. God brought Frank my way,if you are in doubt use his expertise..no regrets...but you have to be patient cos clients too yapa..lol I appreciate all Nairlanders My friends turned sister whom I met on this group 7COLOURS...one would think we have known each other for long... Lekiboboe and Justmellow..big ups to you, they created a smooth path for me by answering all my numerous questions in 2020 by email...they may not remember but I worry them.. All the names I remember from 2020/2021 have gotten visas and moved on to the next level... To everyone waiting for PPR..I will continue to pray for all hopefuls..can't mention everyone but I know God will come through for everyone of you.. My story long ,if I write the whole story..this thread won't contain us... Ps: I disturb IRCC oooooo..no control,I sent mails morning afternoon and night.I can send webform thrice a day..I was just doing anyhow..lol.surprised they didn't warn nor block me GOD is Good...I give him all the glory..he has given me a new song to sing... My dreams have come alive.. Glory! Glory!! Glory!!! Feel free to ask me questions..I will respond to the best of my knowledge... Ignore the typos ooooo |

KimberleyNl:You know the work permit specifications that governs a study permit. So, try to ensure your employment with the employer in Canada doesnt violate it. I will advice to be on the safe side, you can talk about the merits of working in an accounting firm in general but don't say your sponsor has offered you a job in his firm already. The visa officer might interpret it as you are not interested in studying but japaing to work and stay. My 2kobo |

ademma2022:Sorry to hear this.. with that anger, your sop to show you desire to upscale your career up to a managerial spot. I will advise you pursue a managerial course like global business management or strategic Global business management. Make use of the employment letter of a floor supervisor and not a waiter. Try Conestoga college or Lambton or Centinnial or humber.. colleges plenty shaa I recently got someone visa approval with almost the same profile as you. Only that the hospitality establishment is owned by the brother and the young lady was a manager. |

Sara25:•First confirm your school's payment options, •Generate an Invoice through your school's preferred payment platform •Apply through the CBN portal - this will route your application to your bank to handle You will need your letter of admission, fees payment invoice, written letter of instruction to debit your account (some banks require this), your degree certificate. Wait time is between 3-4 weeks. Good luck |

Please I need urgent advise ooo I applied for a post graduate certificate 1year centennial college, but the representative replied me that the program has already closed for the intake and now recommend a related course for me but what she recommend for me was an advanced diploma program 2years. Note: Bsc holder with years of experience bothe the degree, experience and program are all related. Should I go ahead an accept the advanced diploma? |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Anon123: 8:50pm On Jul 18, 2022 |
apeja2017:Do you have an option of applying for a PGD in a course related to the one recommended, you can try otherwise you can go for the advanced but your sop need to be solid |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by johnstan(m): 8:52pm On Jul 18, 2022 |
apeja2017:My own opinion tho. You can proceed with the other option if you're sure it's related. Pros - You can obtain 2-3 yrs pgwp after a 2yrs program Cons - you have to show enough funding for your program duration and living expense. Good luck. |
