Pat978:Your resumption date is September, it's not near yet. No they don't respond quickly but they try to acknowledge most times after several bombardments Just ask them for position as you haven't heard anything from them. |

chytai:It's can't work with your normal debit card cos of the $20 limit to all naija cards. If you are okay. I can pay for you at $1cad to #490. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by chytai(f): 12:26am On Jul 19, 2022 |
Thank you but 490 is too much, can I pay 470? I'm paying for family of 5(785cad) Anon123: |

emonipoint:Use africhange Find someone in Canada to create an account with them and fund the ngn wallet (they'll generate naija bank account for you to deposit) Then convert the Money (naira) to cad on the website/app Withdraw the funds into the person's canada bank account Then pay your school fees through the bank app Tested and confirmed (I paid 2300cad through africhange) |

What's the exchange rate they use in converting naira to cad on the africhange site Samtob4life: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by johnstan(m): 1:44am On Jul 19, 2022 |
chytai:Most Naira cards won't work, physical Dollar cards are begging to misbehave, virtual dollar cards might still work (confirm before you use any). Funding of the card most times entails buying dollar from black market because banks don't sell FX. Black market rate now is around N615/$1 and N477/CAD 1. It changes everyday. Good luck. |

I don’t have any. But anyone in NBCC can create one and add other potential NBCC students. That was how CNA was created. Sara25: |

We submitted on the same date. My upfront Medicals was on June 28th but it’s still yet to be updated to pass. And my eligibility review has started. Though I sent series of mails for the past 2weeks which I think is the catalyst to my eligibility review. Do you think I should send another mail so my Medicals can be updated or do I just wait for IRCC to update it since eligibility has commenced? Abi2022: |

Good morning Gurus in the house, Please I need clarification on an issue. I got a request mail on my application from ircc, screenshot attached. > CAQ: Certificat d’acceptation du Québec from the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion This must be received at this office by: 2022/08/18 > Late Letter of Acceptance: An original letter of late acceptance from the intended educational institution This must be received at this office by: 2022/08/18 The clarifications I need 1) I have only the CAQ confirmation email which states that I can process my study permit without needing the original, I have called Ministère de l'Immigration in Quebec and was told the original can only be sent by post and would take about 4weeks to get to Nigeria. I was reassured again that the confirmation sent via email will suffice for my application. Please can I resend the CAQ confirmation sent via email back to IRCC with this explanation. 2) My school sent my admission letter for jan22 resumption on the 30th nov21, I deferred the admission to sep22 and was issued a new admission letter which was used in applying. Can someone please clarify the meaning of “original letter of late acceptance” ircc is requesting for. I plan sending the old and new admission letters but need the gurus in the house to please advise me accordingly. When I applied for my study permit I included the caq certificate I received via mail and the new admission letter for sep22. Please advise.

Papapa1234:Congratulations! Please, how did you get the following for your daughter? Watlist form and email correspondence of my school's daycare. I have a one year old daughter that I'm applying with and I'm just getting to know this. I've also sent you an email. Kindly respond so that I can seek more clarifications. |

Good morning everyone, Please concerning the proof of Funds, I know most people have said you should have the money in the account for at least 4months prior. I want to confirm, is this four months before you even start the visa application or what? For example, for someone who started the application in February 2022, should the money have been in the account since October 2021? |

When I submitted my request for GCMS note, I got a confirmation mail with a ticket/reference ID. All I did when I didn't get any response after 30 days was to write back to do a reply to the mail I got initially stating my ID and they responded within 5 mins olokings: |

MotolaniBolaji:It's just as per advice, to show that your POF are not sudden inflows and you have a good turnover in the account. However, the main point is to prove you can financially support yourself. If you have sudden lump sums - explain in your sop with the receipts and reasons e.g you sold a land etc If it's a build up of funds like in a business account - provide your company documents If it's a build up from salary inflows - provide your pay slip and if possible letter of introduction from your employer and employment letter. It's a standard requirement that your statement should be at least 4 months duration. Hope that helps. Good luck. |
