Nigerian politicians take precautions not to draw attention when outside of Nigeria for this very reason. They know that if they’re recognized by one of their countrymen or anyone else, they may be asked questions or shamed and they can’t have the person beaten and thrown in jail. When they visit the US, they move about as quiet as mice.

You can’t stop anyone from filming you in America if you are out in a public space. The president is filmed by citizens and cannot stop them. It’s within their rights.
