Please don't get carried away it's just pre season friendlies. I remember us smashing Liverpool and Madrid during pre season only to lose the first match of the season to Swansea under Van gaal. Ten matches into the new season will give us a clearer view.

Those Van Gaal wins were laboured. The football was not creative as with this team.

My own be say Ayinde has earned his spot to lead the line for now, I no wan see Ronaldo for that starting eleven when season starts if he fails to secure his much publicized move.

Garnacho is not even ready for loan in my opinion. He needs to start the season with the Reserves. Come January they can review his progress.
If we sign just 1 wide attacker we will still be light up front and so we need to retain 1 out of Elanga, Pellistri, Amad. Right now we have only 3 senior players (Martial, Rashford, Sancho). We can't go into the season with that.

The press was really good today and the initiator was almost always Martial. I wonder how long he can keep it up in terms of effort and health.

Not all, we can integrate 1 or 2 with the first team.. you will not see their best with the second team

he played alright today before the multiple subs started. the mass substitutions disrupted everyone and they didn't really settle into it before the game was over.

Lol do you think we'll be playing Ten Hag's style for more than 60% of the games next season? It's unrealistic. This team's default settings will still be to sit back when they come under real pressure.

It's the reason I'm saying a Dejong, Malacia, Gravenberch, De ligt or any of those players can come in now. But not the 5'8 CB that'll definitely be exposed in those situations. Martinez will look good when we actually know how to play Ten Hag's style for real. But as for next season, he'll be exposed. I really hope the fans will understand this and not switch the Maguire's and Bruno's hate to an easy target.

Btwn, it's not like I'm really complaining. Just pointing out what would have been the ideal situation. It's not like there are a lot of good ball playing CBs in the market. There's even a possibility Ten Hag had the same thinking but Arsenal's interest forced his hand.

Hannibal is fast for a midfielder. That is why he was sometimes used on the wings for the Under-23s. If Zidane Iqbal played with a little less composure but was bigger, stronger, faster he would be Hannibal Mejbri.

Funny thing is in the Under-18s because Zidane was so small he was the one usually played in the advanced position usually CAM while Hannibal played CM cos he could compete physically in midfield. However in the Under-23s after Zidane caught up in size he was moved back into CM due to his calmness on the ball while Hannibal because of his physical advantages was moved into more advanced positions playing CAM,LW, False 9 but also CM.

Exactly he needs to start the first games until he proves he's not good enough to do that.
Not that we'll start him against Brighton and bench him the next game.
