Let assumed it is the right of the inmates vote, how will they be able to listen and see thier preferred candidates speak and campaign for themselves during campaign time......

This would amount to forcing inmate to vote for the highest bidder....
Contestants will campaign in the Prisons. Problem solved

Why are you so full of hate? Doesn't it bother you that any time you say something it's always vile?

At least prisoners can also demand promises on welfare.

Inmate population is small. Its not all of them that will be eligible. The elections observers, party agents and other security agencies will be part of the process. And with the electronic transmission of results, rigging will be difficult.

So they will have party agent as well and there will be campaign in the prison.
This is funny. Let's see how it goes. But I know that inec or apc is up to something.
There was a jail break in kuje just 2 weeks ago and all the commandant general of Correctional center could ask for is inmate voting right.

Its being done in South Africa and Kenya. I see no reason why it cannot be done in Nigeria. And done well. The elections outside the Prisons is not also 100%. Vote buying, violence and rigging persists. That of the Prisons will also have challenges. And will be fine tuned going forward to meet the standard that we want.

Inmates are citizens too and should not be totally disenfranchised.

Party agents will be from the outside. Jail break is part of the prison system. Thats why its a jail. No jail exists and has never been broken. Lock a person for toilet for 2 hours and see how the person go dey struggle to break free, relate that to a prisoner jailed for years. So, at some point, their will be breaks. It just have to be occasional.

What I just know that, Tinubu knew from beginning that his going to pick Muslim as running mate from the north just to get vote for selfish interest. At least they all saw the hand written. Why cant he go for dogara to balance the equation? They should have allow ameachi or osibanjo as candidate so that it will balance, or Lawal, so it will balance the equation. Buhari is using 8 yrs, if tinubu win, he will use 8 years, then they will now shift the power back to the north for another 8 years. Is this islamic nation?

Was it christain nation when after OBJ 8 years Yar'adua died after two years that another christain carried on for another 6 years?

Stop ethno-religio-tribal bigotry and egocentricity.

Tinubu is out to win election not balancing. Who balancing help in Osinbajo presently?

The main balancing is North and South.

This is unacceptable, meaning you can also contest from prison. prisoners have lost their franchise.
If they are innocent set them free to exercise their constitutional rights .
