Congratulations!!

Yooo

I've been largely a lurker here but I garnered enough information to do it myself.
I just got my PPR on my 3ed attempt.
Timeline:

1st Application: October 10 2020, very lame application. Was overconfident after applying to the US and UK myself without rejections. Didn't do my homework properly. Had 3 grounds for rejection including:
- Poor relationship with sponsor (Uncle without the same last name)
- Unreasonable study plan
- Purpose of visit

2nd Application: May 28 2021. Mitigated all but one of the officer's concerns. The officer had concerns that my sponsor's (mum) account had lump deposits. To be honest, they don't understand how a typical business person in Nigeria runs their account.

3rd Application: February 18 2022. Decided to leave no stone unturned. Paid the rest of the tuition and purchased a GIC. Then a really long wait. Started to stress my MP's office, which was of immense help. Got an ADR for another medical examination on June 10th. Exactly one year after the previous medical examination expired. Medical passed June 30th. PPR this morning.

Overview of successful application:
Submitted on new portal February 18 2022
Medical request June 10th
PPR July 21st.

Can't wait to leave

I heard that AccessBank don’t process FormA for colleges.

How true is this?

Not true. It only takes time to process that's all

johnstan:

There is no stipulated time for admission, it can take a week, 2 weeks or even a month depending on the school you apply to and your documents.
You have 5months from now till January to get your admission and process your visa.
Processing these two past your admission date is not something you should be worried about because you can always defer your admission to a later intake.
Your worry should be having enough documents to successfully process your visa. Admission is not really much of a hassle especially for PGD programs.

Goodluck.
Thanks for your response my bro

Gurus please advise.

My application clocked 12 weeks today, and I sent webforms x2 and emails x2 to Nairobi.

Replies I'm getting are auto from old webform raised since June.

Is this a sign they're opening my case file?

It looks some how shai....jus go for the masters.....my advice....look for a cheap school offering your course....GRE/GMAT about this one i don't know....for me,this depends on the course you are going for....GRE and GMAT there is a way to waive it....if you do your findings well....
Can't i just go for a PGD instead undecided
i'm speaking based on what i can afford.

I’m a second time applicant and I thought the process was somewhat shorter. I applied on June 13th 2022, no update on my application yet. School resumes on September 6th 2022.

Would it be a good idea to defer my admission till January to give time for my application process.

Or just wait it out ?

I AM GOING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA THIS FALL. I APPLIED TO THOSE THREE THOUGH AND GOT ACCEPTED BUT IT DEPEDS ON YOUR CHOICE AND HOW STRONG YOUR PROFILE IS. LET'S SAY I APPLIED ON FEB 2ND AND GOT MY DECISION ON THE 24TH OF MARCH SO IT DEPENDS. BECAUSE THESE SCHOOLS TAKE A LOT OF TIME TO ANSWER ON OUR GROUP MAY HAD ARRIVED AND A LOT WERE STILL WAITING FOR THEIR LETTERS. SO GOOD LUCK AND I WISH YOU CONGRATS IN ADVANCE.
Omnisavage:
What's your academic profile like? These are top rated schools and they are hard to get in. Just count 3 months after the application deadline, if it has not yet elapsed, there is still hope. God will do it.

Just try to find out the MP for the City where your school is located. Then hop on their official ministerial website

It’s not too late to withdraw your application to Canada. Go ahead and withdraw and save yourself that stress. Some of us are too strong willed with Faith that can move mountains... I was expecting at the end to see you didn’t apply to Canada or you withdrew and applied to some other country... Our Grace is different! Thank you!!! God has settled it!!! What God cannot do does not exist

Omg am literally crying
Your faith
God will grant you your ppr
God bless you for that write up
My hope double after reading it

If you go for a PDG....is not bad oh...but i think it will affect your visa app....the VO might conclude "No academic progression"...
Bro...to be honest with you eh...i dont know of others oh... not everyone has this money....not everyone can afford it...you need to trust God in the process...Just trust God in the process...Have the faith,if you know what is right...Do it...Little by Little...Step by Step...✌..
