Martial has been shit as a striker. We're hoping he delivers this season. Unless you're saying he just bulked up this preseason. But the Martial we know was shit as a striker for 2 years. He made us appreciate old men Cavani, Ronaldo and even Ighalo at some point. He's yet to prove he can lead any attack as a striker, this is just preseason.

I didn't say Martial should be played on the wings, but he can deputize for Rashford in some games there. He can be rotated on the wings in some games, and if he's a serious player, he can do some good there.

Oh yes Antony. Ronaldo is the one holding that transfer too. It's less than 2 weeks to the new season

Pep has proven many time he does not need an out and out striker in his team. He can afford to bench his strikers and play midfielders. That's the point. Even when Jesus was the only striker in the team, he still wasn't played enough in that position.

Even Rashford is a striker. Martial is not the only striker in this team currently, aside Ronaldo. We're not light there, and we do not need to buy a striker whether Ronaldo stays or not. If it's wingers and midfield, let them buy ffs. Let them just buy one at least. Ronaldo is not the one holding their transfers. Let us rest on this matter.

I understand you love Ronaldo and you don't want to agree that this saga is affecting our plans a bit. But that's the truth.

Happened to Juve last season and it probably really affected them. They had to bring in a striker in January. They'd have done that last summer if they had the time.

So if he starts banging in goals, he won't be shifted to the wings to accommodate Ronaldo. If Ronaldo starts, that means Martial on the bench.

Btwn no one is saying we can trust Martial, that's why we need someone else apart from him.
