So we bought this fish yesterday but we don't know the name.

EDIT: I don get am. Protopterus annectens (West African Mudfish) Does it have like some whiskers under? They can live throughout the dry season out of water by burying themselves in the mud. Very rugged fishes

I don't know the real name but when I was younger, it was called blood fish. Never knew it could grow this big. I would like to taste it too tongue

definitely in the eel family or catfish family. but i dont know the specific specie/ Mynd44 lalasticlala have you eaten this snake fish before? i Think the yourubas call it Eja Osan.
