It is called okoodo in my native language, it is scally ,the bones are hard but the flesh is sweet and whitish. Delicious with egunsi soup.

This fish has the weirdest habit of eating its body all except the head and can grow its body back in full. All bones are mostly biscuit bones. I hate it.

It is called, pepper soup fish, very nice with boiled yam and oil, with little sprinkles of salt in the oil.
