Vanguard gathered that the lecturers said they were not interested in the salary increase but a salary scheme that would clearly spell out their conditions of service.

He said with the new salary for the lecturers, they were now the highest paid workers in the state, with professors earning twice the salary of the deputy governor.

You are not smart honestly. first of all the cause of the ASUU state university strike was salary disparity which he addressed by increasing their salaries, but the ASUU guys didn't back down because they wanted a salary scheme. what you people fail to realise is that the issue was resolved and presently the Anambra branch of ASUU no longer joins others in theor strikes.

You are correct, OBJ did not enjoy absolute voting support in the West in 1999, but the same happened in the East. It was the North that removed him from Prison that gave him massive vote in the 1999 election.

So, if you are a minister in Biafra and you are fighting a war with Nigeria, you would still be sending food to Nigeria. So, Nigeria Army is now a separate entity form Nigeria ? Gowon and Awo were Nigerian officials so you expect them to sabotage themselves by sending trucks of food to their enemies in a war.
