Amaka's DS

Hello Amaka, welcome to your first DS, talk to Big Brother about your experience so far?

The house has been fun, she's been feeling grateful to be here. It's awesome. She's met with different types of people, a lot of characters and so much....it has not been easy, conflicting ideas, their minds are clashing, but she's fine, she's surviving.

How are you settling in?

Very well, doing the best she can.

Journey into the house and what it means for her?

It was not easy at all. She wanted to figure something about herself. What led her to apply to Big Brother was her qyest to study nursing in America and she did not have money to fund that. So, she wondered what she could do for herself without disturbing others, she found out about the audition and decided to shoot her shot. It was not easy, she broke down multiple times when she thought she would not get an email, and then she would be happy when she would get mails. It looked unreal, but she's happy to finally be in the house.


Thoughts on fellow Level 2 housemates?

Honestly speaking, she does not want to say anyone is doing too much or too less, she's more of an individual person, and she thinks they are not strongly considering their other opponents. She feels like they are forgetting they are 24 contestants, sometimes, they (LVL 2 folks) forget about their opponents. She thinks they should find others weakness and strengths. She brings up greek mythology, says that when two kingdoms were going to war, they had to go into each other's heads (I laughed). She believes her fellow housemates are being lacklustre, but they are good otherwise

How do you intend to spy on Lvl 1 housemates?

She thinks when they all meet for another task, all the people they have heard are strong in the other house, she would like to sit with those people and see how they think. She is there for both the viewers and the housemates. She feels she wants to mingle with them, know them, evaluate their capacities etc. She says even if all the 24 HMs had been together, she would have also mixed up with them all, and gotten to know them.

What are your thoughts on Level 1 Housemates?

Biggie ran them streets, their boys are....anyway, the Level 1 boys are hotter than their boys. She does not know if it was a purposeful action, but she is happy because she is able to focus more here. If she was in Level 1, she would have been focused, but it would have been more intentional. Here (Lvl 2), the guys are enot her specs. With the girls, she did not pay too much attention, but the boys, she likes their body build.

Her chances of winning?

She thinks she stands a good chance. She does not feel it is about drama, but head work. Some people are just in the house to sell themselves, some other people are selling themselves, but are trying to decipher some things. She picked up some things that could help her survive this season, like to be malleable. She also does not plan to lose sight of her comrades on the road to the top. She wants to win, but would not subject herself to silly actions to win. It's okay to win in life, even if you don't get to win the game (I liked this line), but she really wants to win the game. She also mentions enthusiasm, because an enthusiastic mind wants to know more and knowing a lot will help the mind. Also, only the smartest and most discerning will win the season, and she thinks this season is not about faking, but to have the right strategy and to defeat the enemy. Your people will always be your people, as long as you have the right strategy and what you believe in. If it works fine, if not, you'll be happy you lived your truth. She's still big on winning the money, even though someone said she is all about the money and does not care for the feelings of others, she wonders if no be the money carry them come. She tries her best to not step on people's toes, but she wishes all the housemates the best.

Anything Else?

Sometimes it is hard to remain who you are, because some people will want to push you, or you might also want to copy some other person's character. When she came into the house and saw Ilebaye being quiet, she wondered if she was not being too loud, and should she not be prim and proper, but she figured it is better to be you than someone else. She is just trying her best to be her best. She is fine for now. That will be all.

Biggie: This is a journey of self-discovery. The onus is on you to choose the path you take. Your DS has come to an end.


PS: Another Rambler, but I laughed at certain points, because this girl really thinks Biggie's house is Sparta.

They only like her because her name is beauty and they like her face.

There is nothing else to like about her. She's not nice, she's not smart, she's not creative, she's not homely, and nothing she has said so far signifies intelligence. She seems very bratty.

On Sunday or so, she just sat down and was talking about how she focks raw, like, why? Who asked you? TMI! And she talks over people.

She is also proud of her heavy drinking, and I look forward to Saturday night parties, let me see how she will survive.

I'm sorry, but there is something about Bella's general attitude that puts me off.

Sometimes I want to like her, but then she says something, or gives off a certain energy that puts me off.

She seems very combative sometimes, even when it is so unnecessary. Reminds me of all those wicked seniors from secondary school.
