When FG isn't doing their duties, I blast them, so I believe it's necessary to praise them where they've lived up to expectations. I applied for 10yrs passport online and went to the biometric interview on the 20th. While the queuing there, and the long wait for what was less than a 10min engagement wasn't ideal, my passport was delivered two days later, so I believe whatever they've done to optimise their processes requires commendation.

Also they need to get a cleaner to clean all the black cobwebs in that place. It’s an embarrassment.

Switching within UK takes 8 weeks. I've been waiting for a decision and my application is now 19 weeks.

UKVI said they encountered technical error with my application (whatever that means).

How far have you gone, research wise, with suggestions and uni web link given to you from the student thread (Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs).
Q3 might be looked at here. Q1 & 2 might get more responses in the student thread after you post followup clarity question The follow-up should be based on your findings.

Please I'll like to make enquires about university of wolvehampton.
My wife got an admission in the university of wolvehampton while I'll be the dependant working once we get there to finance her studies

Here are my questions:
1. What is their flexibility of the school fees after the initial first tuition fee deposit ?
2. What is the job opportunities there for me as a dependant? (Some said there ain't job there and I need clarification on that )
3. What's the living cost like in there ?

Swift responses will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

If I'm not mistaking, offer letter preceeds CoS. Have any of them given you offer letter?

Yes offer letter has been given for over 2 months ago

It's not ideal to string them along, but if the COS issued is not used, there's a process for businesses to get their money back from home office, so you might as well let things play out. Just make sure you're going with the best offer not simply the first to offer COS.

Thank you

Start practicing for your theory test, once you pass the theory. Get a UK driving instructor, to coach you .......

Ensure you pass your practical driving lesson within 2 years (or else your theory test expires).........

What is the duration......... Only you/your pocket can answer...... grin

Theory test passed moving on to driving lessons and then practical

If not that GBP is crashing against the USD, we should have been at around N850 by now. Very sad for Nigerian Economy, but some of us who have fixed cost projects in Nigeria will be getting the relief. I will be converting some GBP tomorrow to USD and then to Naira. Last time I did that on Thursday, it was about N763/£, let's see what I get tomorrow

It is indeed. To be honest the building both inside and out is an embarrassment to call a consulate, but at least if they're working and folks aren't going through pains to get or renew passports we can condone the other issues for now.

Will it not come down to the same thing ?

Most times, no. Could swing either way but it's more about the convenience for me. If I send it to my USD Account in Nigeria, I can sell to my aboki easily through Bank Transfer in Nigeria. The other option is selling to someone here but since I'm not a trusted vendors like the known elders, that would be tough and stressful and I might not trust anyone I don't know to send them Pounds first. The third option is Lemonade but the low rate is doesn't interest me.

Hahaa! Don't mind Emefiele. He had a point though. Abokifx was so powerful that they could be manipulating the rate. And if they could, they probably did

The parallel market rate, yes.
The so-called official rate is fixed inside Emefiele's bedroom, so that one is beyond Abokifx.
It is long past time for the naira to be floated, had it been floated back in 2017 it would have found its level by now. Of course, the round-trippers can't let that happen.

Of course, there are so many such decisions that aren't rocket science, just that those to take the decisions lack sincerity so they would rather keep beating about.

The only time changing to $ then naira will benefit you is when £1=$1 and $1 to a naira gives you more than £ else it’s garbage in garbage out.
